The Vegas nightlife scene can sometimes seem like a popularity contest. And there are so spots that stay cool no matter when they came on the scene.
It’s easy to feel that way about ghOstbar at the Palms--it’s always hip, no matter what. Besides the fact that the 360 views is spectacular, the decor remains sleek and always a step ahead. Think, are there any other futuristic locales that sit 55 stories above the street and offer the chance to peer down through glass tiles? No, not one. Note, the plush white couch and booth seating situation is pretty stellar as well--all comfortable and ideal for when heels start feeling snug.
Arrival time determines the crowd. Get there early, it’s loungey and fairly laid back. Hop on that elevator a little later and pop in, you’re bound to get more of a party vibe and that’s just fine. Music is always what you want to hear, so having an “I hate this song” moment probably won’t happen. Colorful neon (purple, blue green) lights act as a sexy backdrop, so you’ll feel like you look good the entire time. The place is intimate too, so it’s easy to make a few rounds, but oddly enough you always make it back to that patio, taking in that Vegas view of glitz and glam.
