5 Las Vegas Valentine's Day Ideas From Galavantier.com

You wake up in Las Vegas and you realize you should probably do something special for Valentine's Day. Don’t worry, there is nobody on the planet that knows Las Vegas like I know Las Vegas especially when it comes to dropping the ball on a romantic holiday. ( I already forgot to mention Valentine's Day to my wife)

Need chocolate? Go over to Payard Patisserie inside Caesars Palace.  Buy a chocolate croissant for snacking and a few éclairs. If they have a George V get two. Chocolate mousse with caramelized peanuts and some injected vanilla mousse all on a crispy biscuit, it is a morsel of perfection. You have to go sweet on this day but you don't have to go with the played out box of chocolates.

Bouchon for breakfast.  There is no way you can try to be romantic in Las Vegas and not head to Bouchon at Venetian. This is Thomas Keller of French Laundry and Per Se, the best chef in the USA knows breakfast and this room can get your early morning romance going. Big windows, strong coffee and so much natural light that your breakfast not only is amazing it also makes you feel younger.

Couples Signature Stone Massage at Qua Spa. I am personally more a fan of the lomi lomi massage and the Emperor’s treatment that has you covered in coffee grounds but on Valentine’s Day you want a little romance and doing things together is the way to go. You choose your scent together and it is then infused into these warm oils that will be used throughout your massage (you’ll be taking some home as well). The warm stones help to relax you and your Valentine. There is nothing like the feeling of warm stones gently placed along your spine as your shoulders are gently rubbed with soothing oils.

Dinner at SW Steakhouse at Wynn. If you are aiming for romance you might not equate steak with Valentine's Day but once you take a seat in the dining room and look out at the waterfall you become completely immersed in the superb customer service and you’ll feel it. You’ll order a big, bold red wine from the massive wine list and you’ll fight the urge to lean over and whisper something special into your Valentine’s ear.  Share an entree as that always feels better when you are trying to set the tone for the evening.

Le Reve at Wynn. The perfect show for Valentine's Day is Le Reve. The interpretation of dreams and the intoxicating, underlying sensuality of sleep will make the evening special. Love is in the air and you will look up and ponder just what it is that your Valentines date is dreaming of. Splurge and go the VIP route and you get bubbles and chocolate covered strawberries in your specially designed seats that allow you to see what is happening under the water as well as above it.

The nightcap? Yeah, that’s up to you, but I might suggest hidden pizza at Cosmopolitan or the Banana Pancakes at Citizens at Mandalay Bay (I'm always hungry). You should probably go to La Cave at Wynn, Chandelier Bar at Cosmopolitan or Lily Bar and Lounge at Bellagio for an after show drink.

After that it is up to you.
