Today’s Las Vegas Hint:

The Palms Casino and What To Do:

The New Rooms - When you first check into the new rooms at the Palms you should realize that the hotel is far different than you might remember it. The renovation is complete and this property has turned a corner. The bright rooms are inviting and the new décor enhances the already cool vibe that was built in years ago.

Social in the Casino - Why does it always come down to cocktails and mingling for me? The answer is simple. It’s Vegas! Step through the front door and that new shiny bar that commands your attention is Social. You will get to mingling quite quick and you can bet that you will fall in love with a cocktail or two quite quickly. Girls, make sure to try the Social Butterfly and boys will have to sip a Socially Acceptable.

Heraea – The twist is that you can actually watch a game and not feel guilty if you have your not so sports loving partner in the room with you. The drawback is that you’ll still ignore them when the game is on. The spot is classy enough to dress up for dinner yet allows you the com fort to catch the rest of the game before you head upstairs to the club or out on the town. The bonus is that during the day you can have lunch by the pool and that there patio is a great spot to waste away a few hours sampling cocktail and com fort food.

Fortunes – Tucked away behind the 24 Seven Café is a Chinese restaurant that while hidden in an alcove in the room could easily stand alone in any major casino in Las Vegas. Get there for the dim sum and you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the authentic flavors and the attractive prices.

The Palms Pool – Honestly, I’m not sure I’m ever ready for the type of activity that goes on at the Palms pool. Weekends bring music and mayhem. The crowds of pretty people descend on the water and the drink flow at a rapid pace. It is a sight to watch from your hotel room and once you are in the mix you get caught up in the moment and soon you find yourself dancing with a drink in your hand in water up to your waist.
