5 Vegas Resident Djs You Need to Know About

When it comes to top DJ residencies, Vegas has no problem at all getting A-list talent from all over the world. However, unlike LA or New York, Sin City is exceeding expectation when it comes to being the first city to snatch up fresh DJ talent.

Oftentimes all it take is a grassroots following and an innovative and discerning musical ear to secure a weekday or opening slot at one of the dozen or so clubs here on the strip. If you're super good who knows you could be on the bill right next to a veteran like Tiesto or Aoki!

Here are our pics for the hottest and freshest Vegas resident DJs:

1. Zaxx

What is more impressive than an 18-year old playing alongside Tiesto at Hakkasan? That is where you'll find Staten Island-based Zaxx who has been crushing shows lately with the Dutch EDM giant.

2. Eric Dlux

You might have seen this LA-based DJ's face popping up on a couple billboards here and there around the city. Eric Dlux is apart of the California DJ collective known as Skam Artist. Don't let the name fool you, these guys are all about the music. You can find him in the booth over at Tao Beach and Nightclub.

3. DJ Five

Another Skam Artist DJ, DJ Five is one of the illest hip-hop DJs to grace the Vegas Strip. You can catch him at Tao and The Bank.

4. Danny Avila

At the tender age of 18 this Spaniard has been already destroying the EDM game like a veteran. Jet setting all over the world and playing long sets to adoring fans, Danny is quickly becoming the youngest and most popular EDM name today. You can see him perform at Foxtail Pool & Nightclub.

5. G.T.A.

Short for "Good Times Ahead" this Miami-based duo are slowly experiencing "the rise" by spitting in the face of genre norms ... effortlessly mixing electro house, drum and bass, hip-hop, and trance. They've been spinning at Light and Daylight at Mandalay Bay.
