Artifice Still Rocking With Eclectic Music and Stiff Drinks

Situated in the heart of downtown Las Vegas art’s district is Artifice Bar & Lounge. It’s a hipster’s paradise and is breeding a new generation of watering holes in Las Vegas. If you’re looking for a new vibe and a place where locals frequent, then you should definitely head here.

Housed in a former electrical warehouse, this 3,400-square-foot bar has two lounges, a center horseshoe-shaped bar and a slightly elevated stage in a third room. The stage showcases some of Vegas’ finest eclectic local bands and DJs like Jeremy Ellis, Prism, and The Gonzo Groove Situation. On other occasions you can also catch a burlesque show, a lock and key party for singles, karaoke, and more.

If you’re just looking to chill out and sip on an ice-cold beer from their semi-expansive beer list or a sip on one of their hand-made cocktails, then grab a cozy couch in either lounge or pull up a seat at the bar.

Either place you choose, you’ll be able to admire the hand-stenciled walls and Victorian-esque wallpaper. If art is your thing, you’ll definitely find it at here, but how could you not with a name like Artifice? Even the men’s restroom has TVs framing artwork among other cluttery art items placed randomly throughout the bar.

It’s quite easy to strike up conversation with a stranger at Artifice. Just relax and sip on one of their signature cocktails like the Wintermint, which is made with vodka, Cream de Menthe, Cream de Cocoa and a splash of heavy cream. If that’s a bit too much for you, order their signature cocktail, The Charleston, that is made with whiskey, bitters, sugar, orange slice, cherries, and seltzer water served over ice.

Every night is different at Artifice, but you’re always sure to have a good time with a lively libation.
