Chowhound: Secret Pizza Shop at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

Mmmmm pizza, the aroma you can smell wafting from the middle of nowhere on the third floor of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, is the scent from the no name, Secret Pizza Shop.  Located down a narrow hallway, layered with record albums, between eateries Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill and Jaleo, lies one of the best slices of pizza in Las Vegas. As close to New York style pizza as you will get without heading to the East Coast, your pizza will come piping hot out of the oven and ready for you to bite into deliciously Italian goodness.

The crust: is perfect, not too thin, not too thick and chewy, a great base for a perfect slice of pizza.

The sauce and cheese: tasty and deliciously sweet tomato sauce, the wonderful buffer between the crust and gooey melted mozzarella cheese.

Toppings: have at it and go crazy, everything from pepperoni and sausage to homemade meatballs.

Not a fan of tomatoes? Opt for the White Pie made with a blend of mozzarella and, sweet and tasty ricotta cheese.

And when it’s time to quench your thirst in the Las Vegas desert, opt for a Pabst Blue Ribbon which is conveniently on tap waiting for you to order one.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’ Secret Pizza Shop is the quickest bite to eat you will find on property and well worth the visit.  Make your way down the record album hallway and hop in line to order up your pizza of choice for lunch or even a late night snack (open until 4 a.m. on the weekends!).  There are a few counters and stools to enjoy your pizza but this place is meant to have you in and out in a flash.  If you stick around, test your luck on the pinball machine or Galaga video game but chances are more likely you’ll be hoping back in line to grab another slice because it’s just that good!
