Downtown Las Vegas Events Center is Ready For Action

It’s officially opened and while the lineup may be sparse as of now, the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center (DLVEC) is expected to house a number of events with the ability to host up to 15,000 patrons.

The DLVEC hosted The Great Vegas Gridiron Grill-Off BBQ & Tailgate Festival last weekend (Sept. 6-7) with the next event scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 20 featuring a live performance by Capital Cities. The concert begins at 9 p.m. with special guests by Joywave. Tickets range from $25 to $35 and will take place outside rain or shine with standing room only.

If Capital Cities isn’t your thing you can also catch Greek singer Yiannis Ploutarhos on Saturday, Oct. 11 starting at $100. Tickets are based on reserved seating.

An additional event on the calendar for fight lovers is the World Fighting Championship (WFC) 29, which is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $30 with Super VIP tickets ranging upwards to $75. With Super VIP tickets you get ringside table seating with bottle service available at an additional charge.

No matter what the event, the DLVEC should bring a diverse range of happenings to appease a number of audiences. Watch for more events here.
