Epic Fourth of July Options in Las Vegas

Heading to Vegas for Independence Day this year? You're in for a wild treat with everything from fireworks to booze and bikinis, you're bound to have an amazing weekend. We've got the scoop on what you need to know and where you need to eat, drink and sleep.

Rest Your Head
If you’re planning on doing some pregaming in the hotel room, make sure you get a room with a view so you can enjoy fireworks while you sip on your in-room cocktails. Mandalay Bay and THEhotel are great for views of the South Strip plus you’ll likely to see some fireworks. Other great hotels, with discounted rates for the weekend, include Caesar’s Palace, Planet Hollywood and The Flamingo. Get right in the action by staying at the newbie boutique hotel The Cromwell, which is in the heart of the Strip with great views. If Downtown Vegas is more your style, then great options include the El Cortez or Golden Nugget.

Fireworks Galore
Wherever you go in Vegas, you’re sure to catch fireworks after the sun sets. However, the action on the Strip is the best place to get right in it all. Fireworks will be shot off of the rooftop at Caesar’s Palace, Mandalay Bay Beach, The Linq and The Stratosphere. Fireworks displays on the Strip begin around 9 p.m., but the party starts and ends well beyond these hours.

Get Your Grub and Drink On
Head to Fizz inside of Caesar’s Palace from 2 to 6 p.m. for the Pop & Shop experience where you can snag a glass of bubbly while you peruse the storefronts. The Rhumbar inside of Mirage will have specialty red, white and blue mojitos to keep you cool under that Vegas sun. Head to Luxor and enjoy food and drink specials at Tacos & Tequila. Also, check out the M Resort for their Stars and Stripes Studio B Buffet. Delicious!

Hit Up The Party
If you’re in town on Wednesday evening, you can catch Sammy Hagar and his All-American Beach Party. Don’t worry, you’ll have all day Thursday to recover before the big event on Friday. For a twist on things, head to Tao Nightclub on Thursday, July 3 where you can catch The Snoopadelic Cabaret with none other than Snoop Dogg himself rocking the speakeasy style with burlesque dancers as arm candy.

On July 4, get wet with a number of pool party options. Check out Tao Beach Club for their All American BBQ where you can listen to DJ Eric Dlux as you nosh on Kallia Pulled Pork and Grilled Corn with Chili Mayo.

Other Independence Day pool parties include the following:

Macklemore at Encore Beach Club

Afrojack at Wet Republic Ultra Pool

EC Twins at Marquee Dayclub

Arty at Drai’s Beach Club

If you’re not too interested in catching the fireworks on the Strip and exploding beats inside of the club is more your style, then catch the following for July 4th night:

Baauer at Light Nightclub

Gareth Emery at Marquee Nightclub

Martin Solveig at XS Nightclub

Dillon Francis at Surrender Nightclub

Ummet Ozcan at Drai’s Nightclub

Too Short at 1OAK Nightclub
