Experience Las Vegas

How varied is the Las Vegas experience? Well, let me explain that if you have heard someone say, “I don’t do Vegas. I don’t gamble.” They clearly don’t understand Las Vegas. They don’t know Las Vegas. They can’t comprehend what Las vegas is all about.

Do your good deed for the week and help them see the lights. Help them recognize what you already know. Help them, help themselves!

Las Vegas is not just rolling hard eights and long sessions at the poker tables. Las Vegas is so much more. Send them these five options for things to do in Las Vegas and you’ll soon have to ignore their calls as they ask you to hit the Las Vegas strip with them.

5 Reasons Why People Can’t Say They Don’t Do Vegas

See a Show: The Beatle’s LOVE by Cirque du Soleil
Las Vegas has forever been known as the place where showgirls reside on a giant stage with flamboyant costumes and big show numbers. That era is about done and the best show for that is Jubilee at Bally’s. It runs daily so if you are looking for that experience it still exists but these days Cirque Du Soleil rules the Las Vegas strip. I have always loved Mystere at Treasure Island and newcomer Zarkana at Aria Resort is the perfect Cirque show for the first timer. “LOVE” is just perfect. You could be a Beatlemaniac or someone who does not even know the Beatles exist. It really does not matter because this show is that good. It’s among the best in Las Vegas because when you leave the show you not only immediately want to see it again but you cannot get the images out of your head. You will be talking about this show for weeks after you see it.

Cocktails
Do you remember the days of the free drinks at slot machines and table games? Well, they still exist and you can get all you want as long as you are playing. However, I’m talking about the art of the cocktail. I’m talking about very talented people mixing some fine cocktails with very good ingredients. Las Vegas is doing cocktails very well right now. This is a reason alone to visit the Las Vegas strip.

The Ultra Lounge Experience at HYDE
The nightclub scene has been hot for quite some time now in Las Vegas and it will continue to grow. Megaclubs continue to open and existing clubs are still hiring the very best talent to help fill the dance floor. For me, the atmosphere and the room at Hyde Bellagio is worth a long night and early morning of dancing, lounging and flirtatious behavior.

Eat Well With Gordon Ramsay
Food! The dining scene in Las Vegas is so diverse these days that foodies leave confused. 3 days is not enough. 7 days is not enough. You need multiple visits to Las Vegas just to figure out how to include the great restaurants in Las Vegas. Gordon Ramsay has 3 restaurants on the Las Vegas strip and frankly you can find some real gems at each of his locations. Right now, I’m a huge fan of the hot dawg at Gordon Ramsay BurGR, before that it was the fish and chips at Gordon Ramsay Steak. What will you like?

Get Outdoors and Climb A Rock
Look out your hotel window and you can see the desert. It is right there beyond the lights. It is so close you can feel the sand glide past your temples on a windy day. Spend an afternoon at Red Rock Canyon and you’ll understand the real beauty of Las Vegas. Go climbing and you’ll realize that the real thrill seeking does not involve hitting a soft 17.
