Fireworks on Fourth of July in Las Vegas

Independence day in Las Vegas is perfect for the giant celebration that comes from taking a few days off and spending some time with friends and family. So, where will you watch the fireworks in Las Vegas? I have a few ideas for you to see the entire show light.

5 Places To Watch The Fireworks in Las Vegas

  • Stratosphere Tower – Yes, it’s an obvious choice but you have to agree with me when I tell you that it is a perfect spot to see all the fireworks from the various spots around the Las Vegas valley. Not only do you see the fireworks on the Las Vegas strip but you’ll also get a view of the various shows that are happening in the surrounding area. I would suggest getting to the tower early because it is a popular spot.
  • Cosmopolitan Balcony – If you plan correctly you can have one of the best seats in Las Vegas with a view from your balcony at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. You can pour yourself a drink and watch from the com fort of your own room. Actually, if you angle yourself correctly you might be able to sit in bed with the curtains drawn open and still get a great view of the fireworks on the Las Vegas strip.
  • Cabo Wabo Cantina – If you get to Cabo Wabo Cantina at Planet Hollywood early enough you can grab a seat on the patio with a Waborita and few hundred of your closest friends. The view north on the Las Vegas strip should give you an ample opportunity to see the festive explosions in the sky.
  • Bellagio Fountains –This the way to turn your Fourth of July into a romantic event. You’ll see the dancing fountains and then you’ll get a good view of the fireworks high in the sky. You will have to stand around for awhile and your view can be slightly blocked by the trees that line Las Vegas blvd. I like the idea of two shows at once.
  • Rio parking lot – If you really want to go cheap, you can walk to the top floor of the Rio parking lot and get a view of the entire Las Vegas strip. From that spot you’ll see all of the fireworks displays coming from the various Las Vegas hotels. It will be at a distance but it makes for some very good pictures.

Get out on the strip and you’ll still be able to see fireworks display from most spots. I would suggest that you stand on the west side of the street ( The side with Caesars and Mirage) in order to not have the least amount of hotels as obstructions.
