Giada's New Restaurant Opens at The Cromwell
Giada De Laurentiis, the world-renowned chef and host of the Food Network’s Giada at Home, officially opened her first restaurant this week inside The Cromwell in Las Vegas.
Located on the second story of the hotel, Giada’s features Italian cuisine with De Laurentiis’ infamous California twist. Patrons can expect to find culinary delights such as Marinated Mushrooms with Toasted Almonds, Chicken Marsala Meatballs, Oyster Crudo with Prosecco Mignonette, Citrus Marinated Olives, and Charred Octopus. The restaurant also features an antipasti bar with “Carrara gold marble countertops” and barstools with a signature G – all of which can be found immediately upon entering the venue.
Decorated in accents of rose gold, De Laurentiis’ favorite color, the restaurant is lined with windows providing an airy, well-lit homely feel and amazing views of The Strip including Bellagio fountains. De Laurentiis is also pulling artwork from her own private collection to feature around the restaurant, making sure every detail is a representative of her style.
The new restaurant also features a fireplace, pizza and bread oven, homemade pasta stand, and a dessert cart with freshly created pastries. While the pastry menu hasn’t been revealed, De Laurentiis is known for her sweet tooth, so don’t fill up too much before the cart rolls by, as these delectable sweet treats are sure to be amazing.
Additional menu highlights include a Cacciatore-style Whole Roasted Chicken for two, Bacon Wrapped Dates with Spicy Italian Sausage & Gorgonzola Crema, Rollatini Ricotta Stuffed Eggplant & Pomodoro, and a 7-ounce Filet with Salsa Verde & Crispy Polenta.
Giada’s is expected to be open for lunch and dinner daily, with brunch hours to be announced soon. The eatery is expected to seat approximately 250-plus patrons, but is sure to fill up with reservations quickly.
