Hotels For Your Family In Las Vegas

When you start planning a family vacation you have to consider the overall costs associated with traveling with kids. Yes, I know, they didn’t give us these details when we brought them home from the hospital as infants. Remember, kids eat and they need to be entertained. You should also try to remember that depending on your children you’ll need plenty of options.

These choices for hotels in Las Vegas should help you plan a comfortable and affordable family vacation.

Monte Carlo Hotel – The lazy river and the wave pool work for my family because they are smaller than the beach at Mandalay Bay. If you have kids you know that you need to keep track of them. The pool area at Monte Carlo fits my family better. The food court is conveniently located near the elevators and it is possible to enter and leave the property without ever walking through the casino. Next door the NY/NY Resort has a rollercoaster and plenty of arcade games to drive me crazy.
Bonus tip: Book a room at Hotel 32 at Monte Carlo and you can get a larger room and a little luxury as part of your vacation.

Trump Tower – This is the ideal place for a non-gaming hotel in Las Vegas. Get a one bedroom suite and your kids have some space. The pool is large enough that your children will not be splashing on the adults who can’t imagine bringing little people to Las Vegas. It’s across the street from the Fashion Show Mall if you need some quick cheap food options.

Flamingo Las Vegas – The hotel is right in the center of the Las Vegas strip and cannot be beat for price and location. They have a family pool with a water slide. Food options are affordable and you are so close to everything that you have your pick of options. They will be walking though the casino but if you take your kids to Las Vegas you have probably already explained the adult fun that is gambling and smoking.
Bonus Tip: The Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo is free and they have presentations and feedings throughout the day.

Stratosphere Tower – Look to the very top and the place looks like it was made for kids. It’s still more of an adult playground but the kids can have fun with the thrill rides and families save a great deal at this property. Food options are plentiful and the rooms have been recently renovated. You can actually watch your teenagers jump off a tower.

Circus Circus Hotel – Am I crazy? The property is a bit old but it is still fun for kids. The rooms have been updated but it can still be on the edge of low budget. If you are ok with the minimum then you’ll get the maximum amount of fun at Circus Circus. My kids love the great things in life but they never fail to have a great time at Adventuredome or the midway at Circus Circus.
