Las Vegas Hotel: Palms Place Hotel and Spa

It’s not that I have to soak in a tub while looking out at the Las Vegas strip with a glass of champagne in my hand and a roaring fire in the fireplace. I don’t really need the big screen televisions in each room. Frankly, I don’t need the comfortable couch that beckons me to linger in the room longer than I should. When I’m in Las Vegas I don’t really need any of that. However, I just like to have options and when that option means I get to choose to relax in style I’m pretty happy about it. Another option? The Palms Casino Resort is a quick skytube walk away. Two worlds, two experiences in one resort. You’ll stay at Palms Place because you want more from your Las Vegas accommodations and then you’ll walk over to the Palms because you want a little more from your Las Vegas party.

Sleep. You’ll find plenty of room to sprawl in the 1200 square feet of a one bedroom suite that happens to have the kitchen of your dreams. If you have to choose between a long soak in the tub or whipping up your grandmother’s marinara recipe, opt for the bubble bath instead. Use that refrigerator for the cold drinks. The views of the city at night for me are the draw. Make some time to sit in the room as the Las Vegas valley spreads out and away from you. The early morning is the best time to take it all in. I would pay double for this unobstructed view of the mountains.

Eat. Simon Restaurant and Lounge does a lot of little things right, so save some space for the Double Dip, a roast beef sandwich on crunchy bread dripping with so much flavor you’ll contemplate licking the plate. There is also no way you’ll avoid the Spicy Yellow Tail Roll and the Surf and Turf tacos. Breakfast with a view of the pool or dinner with touch of casual elegance is served here daily. If you need more options you can walk over to the Palms but with such a varied menu you might find yourself at Simon more than once.

Relax. The boutique hotel pool experience is usually quaint and luxurious and it is at Palms Place with a tiny dose of sexy and hip. Grab a daybed, a good book and a cocktail to help find your happy place. After the pool head to the Hammam for a little reset of the mind and body with a sensual steam bath.
The personal attention is why you’ll stay at Palms Place from the pool staff to the spa professionals if you are seeking a getaway you’ll get that experience that will help you unwind.

You’ll surprise yourself if you first check into Palms Place and wonder how you’ll stay busy with what would seem like so little to do. That’s the point. Las Vegas is right outside the door but inside you can dictate the pace of your Las Vegas experience. If you need to getaway but you feel like you still need the option to let loose this is where you need to be.
