New Year's Eve's Glamorous Eats

For some, New Year's Eve means confetti, Champagne, and dancing. The closest thing to a dining experience in this night out would be the olives in your martini. For those of you who proudly tout your foodie flag or are turned on by the words “caramelized,” “caviar butter sauce,” or “truffles,’ then you’re going to need one of these amazing New Years Eve menus to choose from. Good luck trying to determine which of these tasty meals gets your stamp of approval, because they’re all eager to get your attention with gorgeous filets and lobster.

Alize at Palms
New Year’s Eve diners celebrating at the Michelin-starred Alizé, can enjoy two prix fixe menu options while taking in breathtaking 280-degree panoramic views of the Strip. At the 6 p.m. seating, guests will enjoy five-course selections including parsnip and pineapple parfait with green onion, roasted lobster bisque with lobster salad, petit filet mignon, ahi tuna au poivre and more. Late-night diners enjoying the 9 p.m. seating will be treated to a six-course meal, which will include an additional selection of baby spinach with black truffles, duck confit, prosciutto, brioche and truffle vinaigrette; seared scallop with salsify purée, white truffles, Brussel sprouts, Siberian caviar or potato gnocchi with Parmesan cream, asparagus, walnuts and white truffles. The 6 p.m. seating is $175 per person and the 9:30 p.m. seating is $350 per person.

Top of the World Restaurant at The Stratosphere
Say goodbye to 2014 with an incredible five-course gourmet dining experience at the Top of the World restaurant. The restaurant features phenomenal views while revolving 360 degrees every 80 minutes. Executive Chef Rick Giffen has prepared a five-course menu to ring in the New Year with items such as braised beef short rib with star anise reduction, lobster bisque with lemon mascarpone cream and a dessert. There will also be party favors, cash bar and a sweet surprise to take home. Reservations are available from 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. in two-hour seating blocks. $299, per person.

Carnevino at Palazzo
Carnevino offers four New Years Eve menus. The chef's tasting menu is $195 per person and includes soft poached egg, white truffle sformato, dry aged beef tortellini, cobia, dry aged bisteca di Fiorentina, coconut bruciato and chocolate cake. The menu tradizionale is $165 per person and includes antipasti, beef cheek ravioli or lobster anolini, dry aged ribeye or capo filetto for the table and peanut butter torta or cheesecake. A prix fixe menu is available for $135 per person including antipasti, an 8-ounce filet mignon, turbot or roasted game hen and tiramisu or a selection of gelato and sorbetti. For $75 per person, guests can enjoy the prefisso menu, which includes antipasti, an 8-ounce filet mignon, tagliatelle or roasted game hen and a selection of gelato and sorbetti.

Hakkasan at MGM Grand
Hakkasan Las Vegas Restaurant will ring in 2015 with prix-fixe menus by Michelin-starred Chef Ho Chee Boon. Upon arrival each guest will receive a complimentary glass of champagne provided by Perrier-Jouët. To start the evening, the 5:30 p.m. seating features a $78 prix fixe menu beginning with the Hakka steamed dim sum platter. A selection of main entrees will follow, including the Crispy chicken in lemon sauce and Stir-fry black pepper beef ribeye with merlot. To top off the meal, Hakkasan will offer a chocolate tasting. For the additional seatings at 6:30 p.m., and 9:30 p.m., the $138 menu will consist of highlights such as crispy fried scallop plated with banana and fresh fruits, braised Chilean seabass, grilled Waygu beef and stir-fry lobster with sugar snaps in XO sauce. Guests will also have the choice to add the Peking duck with Tsar Nicoulai Reserve caviar to their meal for an additional $40 per person.

B&B Ristorante at The Venetian
B&B Ristorante will offer three New Years Eve menus with classic Italian New Year’s dishes. The NYE tasting menu is $250 per person and includes oysters and caviar, veal carpaccio, cotechino, risotto, sea bream roasted in paper, veal finanziera alla Piemontese, Italian cheese cart service, bruciato, chocolate souffle and amaro and piccola pasticceria. The tradizionale menu is $165 per person and includes antipasti, pasta, whole grilled branzino for the table, a meat option and dessert. The prefisso menu is $115 and includes antipasti; garganelli Bolognese, lobster spaghetti or gnocchi with wild boar ragu; braised short rib al Barolo, roasted halibut with cauliflower and citrus, grilled sirloin steak with endive and “Brown and Blue Butter” or pork chop with Kuri Kuri squash, apples and green walnut. Dessert is cannoli with pistachio cream and chocolate, vanilla panna cotta with Cara Cara orange or gelati and sorbetti.

NOVE Italiano at The Palms
Eat at NOVE Italiano, located atop the Palms' Fantasy Tower, for an unrivaled view of the Strip. Enjoy a prix fixe menu with prime beef crudo with Parmigiano reggiano and truffles followed by shrimp Francaise, creamy Maine lobster risotto and choice of aged filet mignon, Florida grouper and roasted Sonoma duck, among other tasty options. Guests who opt for the 9:30 p.m. seating are invited to watch the fireworks from Nove’s Garden Room with a celebratory glass of champagne. Seatings are at 5 p.m. ($69 per person), 7 p.m. ($79 per person) and 9:30 p.m. ($99 per person.

Everyone kicks off the night with an Amouse Bouche of Fried Oysters with Caviar and Dill Sauce before moving into your first course selection. Choose from the Duck Foie Gras Terrine, Tomato and Crab Bisque or Roasted Cauliflower Soup. Second course brings a selection of Baked Abalone, Braised Veal Cheek or Ratatouille Stuffed Pepper. Third Course brings the Dover Sole Filet, Filet of Prime Beef, Roasted Pheasant Breast, or Butternut Squash Ravioli. When the Fourth Course arrives, cleanse your palate with the Belgian Endive Salad with Roquefort Cheese, Walnuts and an Orange Vinaigrette. Dessert offers a complete dessert trio of a Valrhona Chocolate Pot de Créme, Clementine Gelée and a Coffee & Ginger Tia Maria Gateau. $185 per person

Panevino Ristorante
Ready for a view of the city that can’t be beat? Panevino’s offerings are sure to please and they even offer a Vegan-friendly menu for New Year’s Eve!

Artichoke Flan and an Eggplant & Fig Salad kick off the dinner before moving into a Strozzapreti with Lobster & Porcini, then a Surf & Turf with Dover Sole and a Beef Filet Wellington. For the sweet stuff, Panevino’s cooking up a Mascarpone & Coffee Cream Basket is all priced at $185 per person and begins at 9:30 p.m.

Blue Ribbon Sushi at The Cosmopolitan
Start the evening with an Amouse Bouche consisting of Oyster Sunomono with Ponzu, Scallions and Momiji Oroshi, Seared Wagyu Shikaku with Truffle Sea Salt, and Toshi’s Choice Omakase. For the main course, select either the Steamed Lobster with Miso Butter of Filet with Japanese Sweet Potato and Black Truffle Sauce. All with a King Crab Fried Rice with Soft Scrambled Egg, Asparagus, Wild Mushrooms & Truffle. When it’s time for something sweet, enjoy the Ginger Bread Pudding.  For Invited Guests of the hotel only.

Comme Ca at The Cosmopolitan
First off, a Musquee de Provence Pumpkin Soup with White Truffles from Alba. Follow that with the Foie Gras Terrine, Bergamot Quince Jam and Crispy Sunchoke. For the main course, a Grilled Wagyu Beef Short Rib & Langoustine Chestnut Ravioli, Beef Fat Whipped Potato in a Black Truffle Sauce. For dessert, Comme Ca is serving up a White Truffle and Pumpkin Charlotte, complete with Pumpkin Ganache, Cinnamon Pumpkin Mousse and Brown Butter Ice Cream. For Invited Guests of the hotel only.

Allegro at Wynn
Chef Enzo Febbraro offers a four-course menu for Allegro’s New Year’s Eve Gala celebration. Start the meal with fried calzone with escarole, black olives and smoked provola. For the second course guests will have the choice of carpaccio with crudo of tuna, branzino, scallops, and salmon; Burrata with a strudel of prosciutto, porcini and black truffles; pasta e fagioli; or a torta, a savory tart of Taleggio cheese and asparagus served with crispy apples, dates and rhubarb compote. Entrées include the choice of lasagna napoletana; squash risotto with cotechino pork sausage topped with toasted pumpkin seeds; grilled beef tenderloin with Maine lobster served with potato cakes, fried artichoke, horseradish, and a honey and veal reduction; or branzino with farro, fennel, and oven dried tomato topped with Cremona fruit mustard and salsa verde. For dessert, enjoy a tasting of Allegro’s sweets, including catalana crème, chocolate tartufo, rum baba, and panettone bread pudding. Andrea’s at Wynn
Chef Joseph Elevado offers a prix fixe menu featuring kabocha soup with white truffle, poached Kumamoto oysters and pickled green apple; kanburi and king crab; wild caught tai snapper with Brussels sprouts, persimmon and caviar butter sauce; Japanese A5 strip loin with black truffle, shiitake and foie gras-stuffed radish topped with bordelaise; and Andrea’s celebratory dessert. The prix fixe menu is priced at $275 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. Gala seating is at 9 p.m., 9:30 p.m. or 10 p.m. and includes a complimentary Champagne toast.

BARTOLOTTA, Ristorante di Mare at Wynn
Two-time James Beard Award-winning chef Paul Bartolotta will offer a family-style service of various seafood dishes, homemade pastas and entrées – all served in a vibrant setting overlooking a shimmering lagoon. BARTOLOTTA, Ristorante di Mare will feature three prix fixe menus throughout the evening. Three-course prix fixe early seating: 5:30 p.m., 5:45 p.m., or 6 p.m. $125 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. Five-course prix fixe menu: 6:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m., or 7 p.m. $175 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. Seven-course gala prix fixe menu: 9 p.m., 9:30 p.m., or 10 p.m. $395 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity. BARTOLOTTA, Ristorante di Mare’s gala celebration will feature a DJ and dancing and includes a complimentary Champagne toast and a commemorative photograph.

Botero at Wynn
Chef Mark LoRusso will offer a prix fixe menu featuring his innovative steak and seafood fare including chilled shellfish salad with Maine lobster, Alaskan crab and saffron aioli; white truffle ricotta ravioli; pan roasted Dover sole with parsnip puree and a lemon emulsion; and a whole roasted filet of prime rib-eye served with creamed salsify and black truffle sauce. The meal concludes with a chocolate candy bar with Godiva mousse, peanut cremeux and Kahlua ice cream. The prix fixe menu includes a Champagne toast, and is priced at $325 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. Gala seating is at 9 p.m., 9:30 p.m., or 10 p.m.

The Country Club at Wynn
Chef Carlos Guía’s festive menu begins with Russian Osetra caviar with blue cornmeal blini, crème fraîche, quail egg, and onion sprouts. Other courses to follow include Berkshire pork strip loin with crispy prosciutto, celery root puree with Brandy-green peppercorn sauce; scallop and crabmeat gratin on the half shell with parmesan cream, brioche and chives; and char-broiled filet mignon and grilled lobster tail served with fingerling potato hash and black truffle sauce. The night ends on a sweet note with chef Guía’s selection of mini desserts and chocolates. The prix fixe menu is priced at $250 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity. The Country Club will also feature a DJ, dancing and a Champagne toast. Reservations are available from 9 p.m.

On New Year’s Day Chef Carlos Guía offers a special Jazz Brunch at The Country Club, set to the swinging sounds of a live Dixieland band. Savor specialties like eggs Versailles, shrimp and grits, creole gumbo, and French toast bread pudding alongside dozens of dishes at the appetizer, seafood and carving stations. New Year’s Jazz Brunch at The Country Club will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and is priced at $75 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity 

Mizumi at Wynn

Chef Devin Hashimoto will offer a five-course menu that features chilled Maine lobster with konnyaku soba, bonito broth and golden Osetra caviar; seared scallop tiradito paired with a trio of maki and premium nigiri; and robatayaki-grilled miso coral rockfish with braised kelp, bamboo shoot and Romanesco nimono. For the entrée guests will have the choice of Ideue Farm Japanese Wagyu strip loin with Japanese mushroom croquette, kabocha squash puree and sansho au poivre sauce; or roasted Kurobuta pork loin with Fuji apple and kobabu turnip salad, rapini oshitashi and sumiso sauce. Dessert includes sauté of pears, pear brunoises, hazelnut clafoutis and salted caramel ice cream topped with crushed hazelnut tuile. The five-course prix fixe menu is priced at $225 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity. Mizumi will also feature a DJ, dancing and a Champagne toast. Reservations are available from 9 p.m.

Sinatra at Wynn
Chef Theo Schoenegger crafts an exquisite five-course menu at Sinatra that includes yellowfin tuna tartare, foie gras carpaccio with a huckleberry vinaigrette; Maine lobster and diver scallop ravioli with cioppino emulsion; braised Mediterranean sea bass with leek compote and Osetra caviar beurre blanc; and prime New York roast beef, 36-hour braised Wagyu short rib with winter truffle-glazed Brussels sprout petals with vanilla-scented butternut squash port wine and cognac-infused beef reduction. For dessert, indulge in Valrhona chocolate glazed pistachio and panettone semifreddo, topped with a blood orange gastrique. The prix fixe menu, including a Sinatra Smash cocktail, is priced at $325 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. Reservations are available from 9 p.m.

Society Café Encore
Chef Jeremy Pacheco has created a festive prix fixe menu that starts with ahi tuna tartare followed by the choice of Australian Wagyu beef carpaccio; Good Fortune Salad with baby kale, grapes, smoked almonds, Crow’s Dairy feta with a Champagne vinaigrette; or lobster and wild mushroom risotto. For the entrée guests may choose from braised bone-in beef short rib with grilled prawns, creamy polenta, wild mushrooms, baby carrots, pearl onions, and red wine jus; or crispy black bass and prawns with beluga lentils, baby fennel, pearl onions, sea beans, and bouillabaisse broth. For dessert, Chef Pacheco will have a selection of sweet treats. The three-course prix fixe menu is priced at $75 per person and includes a Champagne toast, not including tax and gratuity. In addition, regular dinner service and menu is available throughout the evening. Reservations are available from 5:30 p.m.

SW Steakhouse at Wynn
This New Year’s Eve, Chef David Walzog crafts classic chophouse fare for his prix fixe holiday menu, featuring Russian Osetra caviar parfait; yellow beet and poached pear salad with white truffle, Robiola cheese croquette and mizuna; and butter-poached Maine lobster with celery root, Sardinian gnocchi and chervil foam.  For the main course guests may choose from Japanese A5 Wagyu strip loin and short ribs with black kale, Yukon potato and Burgundy sauce; or potato-crusted Dover sole with black truffle and a citrus butter sauce. The meal concludes with a selection of petit pastries, chocolate and fruit. The prix fixe menu is priced at $425 per person, not including tax and gratuity. SW Steakhouse will also feature a DJ and dancing. Reservations are available from 9 p.m. and include welcome Champagne toast and commemorative photograph. 

Wing Lei at Wynn
Chef Xian Ming Yu offers guests a special dim sum brunch this holiday season. Menu items include fried or steamed dumplings, shrimp balls, barbecue pork buns, potstickers, and many other favorite dishes. Wing Lei’s holiday dim sum brunch also includes a lavish sushi station, prime rib carving station, noodle soup station, and much more. The Wing Lei holiday dim sum brunch is offered from 11 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. from December 24, 2014 through January 2, 2015. The menu is $68.88 for adults and $58.88 for children over five years of age, not including tax and gratuity.

Picasso at Bellagio
Those looking to ring in the New Year in elegant fashion can choose from a variety of dining experiences at Bellagio. Exquisite cuisine can be found at Picasso with a choice of Sautéed Steak of “A” Foie Gras, Sautéed Ruby Red Shrimp, Roasted Maine Lobster, Sautéed Halibut, Prime Filet Mignon, Roasted Tournedo Loin of Colorado Lamb and Roasted Milk-fed Veal Chop.

Sensi at Bellagio
Sensi will offer a distinctive menu including Herb Crusted Lamb Rack, Salt Baked Sole and the Sensi Surf & Turf, which contains Miso Butter Roasted Lobster Tail, Dungeness Crab Stuffed Potato and Wagyu Rib Cap.

Jasmine at Bellagio
Jasmine’s offerings will include Lychee Lobster Salad, Scallop or Mushroom Pumpkin Soup and Pan-fried Prime Beef Tenderloin.

Tom Colicchio’s Heritage Steak at The Mirage
Guests can toast to the New Year with a variety of unforgettable dining experiences at The Mirage. Rib- eye steak and Hackleback sturgeon can be found at Tom Colicchio’s Heritage Steak complemented with decadent truffles and caviar.

Japonais at The Mirage
Japonais will offer a prix-fixe, three-course menu including Miso Soup, Dayboat Scallop Ravioli, Japanese Black Wagyu Zabuton Steak and Green Tea Crème Brûlée.

THE Steak House at Circus Circus
The mouth-watering offerings continue at Circus Circus. THE Steak House at Circus Circus will present a delicious three-course menu highlighting the restaurant’s signature French Onion Soup, Mesquite-broiled Petite Filet Mignon, Australian Lobster Tail and delectable treats from the dessert cart.

Twist by Pierre Gagnaire, Mandarin Oriental
Twist’s innovative menu infuses the simplicity of classic French cuisine with an unforgettable modern spin. New Years Eve will have two seatings for a gourmet four-course dinner or the later six-course dinner. The Four-Course dinner features a Chilled Potato Soup with Vodka, Grilled Turbot with Grapefruit Fondue, a Grilled Prime Beef with Turnip Stuffed with Chestnut and Onion Fondue, and an assortment of Grand Desserts. The Six-Course seating offers an extraordinary culinary journey through additional courses of Warm Haddock Carpaccio with Diver Scallop, Duck Foie Gras Terrine, and Grilled American Wagyu Beef.

First Seating: $295 per person, Wine Pairing for $120.

Second Seating: $525 per person, Wine Pairing for $200 or $777.

N9NE Steakhouse at The Palms
A multi-award winning venue and one of the country’s best steakhouses, N9NE Steakhouse will be serving up some delectable dishes for New Years this year. Featured this year is a Yukon Gold Potato Soup, Potato Pierogies, Roasted Veal Chop with Seasonal Mushrooms and a Madeira Wine Sauce, Cajun Dusted Dover Sole with White Polenta, Japanese Kobe Beef Tenderloin “Oscar Style.” Items are offered a la carte.
