Nightlife Junkie: Halloween in Vegas

It's about that time again, Halloween Weekend is here and chock full of things to do, people to see and DJs to hear! One of my favorite sources for what’s going on in town is the Las Vegas Weekly, which has the essential guide to partying the weekend away! Below are some highlights of Mark Adam’s amazing rundown of events! Click HERE to access the full calendar of events.

Heidi Klum’s Halloween Party at Tao inside of the Venetian
Project Runway taught us that the German supermodel knows a thing or two about fashion, and Halloween is no exception. Klum has wowed for more than a decade with intricate costumes (including Betty Boop and Lady Godiva). This year, she brings her annual Halloween party to Tao, with DJ ?uestlove supplying the sounds. October 29, doors at 10 p.m., $50 men, $30 women.

Fetish & Fantasy Ball at the South Point
The Travel Channel named the party one of the top 10 events to attend in the world, and this year it moves to the South Point, where there’s nearly twice the space to fill with adult entertainment (last year’s installment included a bondage stage). October 29, doors at 9:30 p.m., $88.

Night of the Killer Costumes 5 at The Palms Halloween means two things: scantily-clad ladies and epic costume contests. Find both at the Palms Saturday night, as the hotel gives away $100,000 in cash and prizes to costume contest winners at Rain, Ghostbar, Moon and Playboy Club. DJ Pauly D spins at Rain, with resident Zen Freeman opening. October 29, doors at 10 p.m., $34-$45, $79 for access to all venues.

Tiesto at The Joint
The Dutch DJ recently canceled his December date at the Joint, which means Saturday marks the closing night of his yearlong residency at the Hard Rock Hotel venue. October 29, 10 p.m., $76.

Blood Orange Masquerade Ball at Chateau
Paul Oakenfold brings his “We Are Planet Perfecto” tour to the Paris nightspot for his first performance on the Strip in over three years. Scott Disick of Keeping Up With the Kardashians fame hosts, and a costume contest (with a $10K grand prize) completes the festive fête. October 29, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women.

Marilyn Manson at The Bank inside of the Bellagio's
Halloween is pretty much synonymous with Manson—the rock musician’s band was even initially called Marilyn Manson & The Spooky Kids. He hosts the Bellagio nightclub Saturday night, with resident DJ Karma in the booth. October 29, doors at 10:30 p.m., $40.

Sinner’s Ball at Vanity
The Hard Rock Hotel nightspot presents a Halloween installment of its SIN on Sunday industry night. The club is set to award $50K in cash and prizes in a lineup of costume contests, including: sexiest, best celebrity impersonator, scariest, most creative, WTF and best group costume. October 30, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women, local ladies free.

Devil’s Night Ball at Crown
The Rio nightclub opens its doors Sunday for a devil-themed Halloween bash. Bottle specials are available, and ladies drink free champagne until midnight. Iconic adult film star (and AVN Hall of Famer) Ron Jeremy hosts. October 30, doors at 10:30 p.m., $20, $10 for ladies in costume.

Angels & Devils Party at Tryst
Saints and sinners collide at this costume party. Fittingly, Angel Porrino of Holly’s World and Absinthe hosts. October 29, doors at 10:30 p.m., $50 men, $20 women.

Boneyard at Krave
Party it up with TJ Kelly of The A List: New York as he hosts the Strip-side gay club’s 18+ Halloween extravaganza. Score some cold, hard cash money by participating in the sexiest costume contest, or wait for the $2,500 cash balloon drop. Manning the DJ booth for the night is resident DJ Silence. October 28, doors at 10:30 p.m., $20.

Lil Jon at Surrender
The hip-hop artist and DJ raised big bucks for charity while appearing on the fourth season of The Celebrity Apprentice. On Halloween night, he’ll help give away big money as he hosts the Encore nightspot’s $25K costume contest. October 31, doors at 10 p.m., $40 men, $30 women.
