St. Paddy's Day Parties in Sin City

As I write this, I can feel the anticipation of St. Patrick’s Day building. My last name is Kelley, so I’m one of those not-off-the-boat, yet still super enthusiastic Irish folks that praise my Irish heritage each year on this splendid holiday.

  1. Nine Fine Irishmen
Seriously, one of my favorite Irish joints in town – this hotspot has a variety of whiskeys to choose from including multiple selections of Jameson (yum!) plus some of the best Shepherds Pie around. And every St. Paddy’s Day they throw down for an incredible party that gets so packed there’s literally only room to shake your ass on the dance floor and cheers the person next to you. It does cost a small fee to get in, but you also get a cocktail if you’re of age, which you should be reading this blog.
  2. Crazy Horse III
In honor of the great Irish holiday, this sexy gentlemen’s club is promoting $5 shots of Jameson before midnight on St. Paddy’s, plus it’s a great place to get lucky with the comfort of a beautiful dancer, right? What are you waiting for; I’m sure the Irish antics will be aplenty at this club.
  3. O’Sheas
This is probably the biggest Saint Patrick’s Day party in town. O’Sheas and The Linq have an annual ‘Block Party” in honor of the Irish celebration. Let me start with saying there are $3 shots of Jameson and $5 glasses of Guinness. Now add in some green beads, scantily-clad patrons, live bands as well as a little beer pong and boom: epic St. Paddy's Day!

I heart Commonwealth. Really, I just love this bar. I wish I could go there all the time, but my wallet and liver can’t take it. However, I think I’ll be attending this lovely bar this year for the Irish holiday thanks to the brilliant event of “Men in Kilts.” Yep, you read that right: Men In Kilts. Men are encouraged to dress in their best kilt to compete for a $500 prize and local firefighters will also be on hand in kilts to promote the event. Dudes, you can win uber cash whereas ladies there will be firefighters in kilts. Need I say more.
  5. Fremont Street Experience
I did this party last year and it was pretty rowdy as well as fantastic time. You have a drink or two; you walk around and enjoy the street performers. You have another drink and you begin meeting strangers who are also drinking, pretty soon you’re giving a tour of downtown Las Vegas to a group of visiting tourists and then you’re kissing Irishmen in a bar. Just another grand ‘ole night in Vegas. Trust me, it’s a good time.
