Desert Hops: An International Beer Experience Heads to Town

Calling all beer sommeliers, it’s time to sample a plethora of the world’s finest brews. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is once again bringing Desert Hops: An International Beer Experience to the Boulevard Pool this September 27.

This year, more than 150 beers from approximately 25 countries will be available to sample -- from Japan and the U.S. to Australia and more.

Gems of The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas

It’s tall, thin and glittering, much like the patrons that visit it. The Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino hit the Strip hard in 2010, instantly shaking things up for the rest of its neighboring hotels.

Wandering through the interior of The Cosmo looks like Jay Gatsby and Alice in Wonderland went into business together. Almost five years later, the hotel is still going strong, with a few recent evolutions on the horizon.

THEhotel Transforms to Delano This Summer

If you’re heading to Vegas in the next few weeks and you’re staying at THEhotel or near it, you’re going to find some notable changes including the removal of THEhotel’s signage and some major construction throughout the hotel.

MGM Resorts and Morgan’s Hotel Group are working together to renovate THEhotel into the Delano, which is expected to open September 1.

THEhotel opened in 2003 as a nongaming property attached to Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino with approximately 1,100 rooms.
