Sometimes you just can’t top a classic. While Vegas continues building bigger and better clubs, one more fabulous than the next, there is still an instinct to stick with what you know and love.

And so, Body English at the Hard Rock Hotel endures. In fact, HRH tried to close down Body English and replace it with another nightclub—and while that one had its merits (Vanity is a beautiful room, and now makes a great event space), the BE fans would not be denied. The classic is back, and with just a bit of polish, better than ever.

Right at that moment when you think Las Vegas cannot get any better you realize that if you stretched a weekend into a 4 day getaway you could do so much more. What it comes down to is the question: Do you love your body more than you love your boss? Don’t you deserve some time to relax? You would be far more productive if you eliminated all the stress of your daily life and just did the right thing. Go to Vegas for 4 nights in stead of two.

What if you hit four night clubs in four days? What if you hit four amazing restaurants in four days? What if you saw four shows?

You haven’t been to TAO? Seriously, you’re headed to Las Vegas for the weekend, you’re looking for a good nightclub, and you say you haven’t been to TAO? Well, then that makes it an easy decision. The Venetian’s legendary megaclub/lounge/restaurant wasn’t the very first modern nightclub in Las Vegas, but it was definitely the first serious one, the one where the VIP tables had real VIPs and the one that you heard about in the tabloids. If you haven’t been there, you really haven’t been nightclubbing in Vegas.

It’s a scientific fact: The last time of day or night that anyone had a hard time getting a drink on the Las Vegas Strip was way back in 1961. That man was the legendary Joe E. Brown, and the only reason he couldn’t get a drink was he couldn’t stand up.

Joking aside, Vegas has always been a fine place to whet your whistle, but times may be better now than ever. Because now, the quality and variety of things to drink have made a distinct upward climb.

The wine bottle is half empty and I’m sitting in a large crowded Las Vegas restaurant when I get the idea of taking my wife on a date. So, naturally I figure I should write about it so that while I am coming up with the perfect date night in Las Vegas I’m also working.

It’s pretty simple to impress your date at Bellagio Las Vegas but if you need to step up your game follow my advice and you’ll soon be sleeping in on Saturday morning and having breakfast delivered to your bed as you watch highlights.

Wow, is it Spring Break already? Feels like it was just New Year’s Eve! But hey, the calendar doesn’t lie, and like they say, time flies when you’re having fun.

Vegas is always having fun, but Spring Break is the time of year when things really start to come alive. The weather is turning hot, the pretty people seem hotter, and it’s time to party. Now, you can find a good party just about anywhere on the Las Vegas Strip, but let’s save you some head-scratching time and point you straight to some of the best spots.

You’re in Vegas for the weekend, and you’re ready for some action. A party night is definitely in the plans. But this time you really don’t want to deal with the massive nightclub and the long lines and the who-ya-gotta-know.... Just a cool place to hear a DJ, loosen up and have fun: that’s the plan.

I’m talking about Surrender, the more intimate nightclub at Encore with cool design and sexy sounds. A more insidery crowd comes to Surrender, not that there’s anything underground about it, but these are the folks who are more interested in a good time than bragging about being somewhere famous.

It’s Friday. It’s Vegas. You want to make this a weekend to remember, and you want to hit the ground running. It’s a club night, but let the other people line up and wait forever at the newer hot spots: you’re set for LAX, the huge spot at Luxor that still draws a hot crowd to a sexy dance floor and plush bottle booths.

The Chateau in Paris Las Vegas. Looking for that authentic “only in Vegas” experience? This is definitely it.

But the evening is just getting started and you don’t want to get there too early. Seeing a show at Paris isn’t a bad idea. They have the Four Seasons tribute Jersey Boys, which is a great time even if you don’t know the original 60s inspirations. Next door at the connected Bally’s casino you can experience the classic showgirl revue Jubilee! Or there’s hypnotist Anthony Cools, a longtime Vegas draw who makes audience members do all kinds of unexpected things.
