The Best Spots For Beer On The Las Vegas Strip

It’s summertime and the need for a cold beer seems to come upon us like our desire to have oxygen to survive. There is no shortage of places to have a cold one in Las Vegas, but these are a few spots that should be on your radar.

The Pub at Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino – This beer list is massive and the televisions surrounding the entire restaurant make it impossible to ever leave. Take a look at the patio with a view of the pool and you can easily see yourself ordering a few more beers just to keep you hydrated in the sun. If you have it in you, try the burger challenge and see if you can finish an 8 pound hamburger. Also, happy hour here gets you some decent snack foods while you indulge in discounted draft beers.

Public House at Venetian & Luxor – There are two Public House hotspots on the Strip. The Public House at Venetian has a very impressive beer list. Plus, what goes better with a cold beer than a side of Poutine (french fries with duck confit, cheese curds and gravy). Then there is Public House in the Luxor Hotel, which feels a bit more casual and therefore you might find yourself ordering a couple more beers. No, there are not as many craft beers here, but you can get some pretty good appetizers to snack on.

Holstein's at Cosmopolitan Hotel – You will probably want to grab a burger here. Saddle up at the bar, which looks right at a long row of taps, that are primed and ready to pour you a beer. Enjoy making new friends here while you eat, drink and be merry with others. When you are done maybe you’ll walk over to the Vesper for a cocktail or to STK for steak but a beer and burger is really all you need.

Yard House at the LINQ – Did I just include a chain restaurant in this list? Yes! You really can’t go wrong with the selection that the Yard House puts together and in Las Vegas you can choose from a few of them. The LINQ location is good because the Happy Hour specials will keep you hydrated at a fraction of the cost that you might find elsewhere in this new entertainment district. Also, the food menu is massive and if you are looking for a meal that will not break the bank while sampling a few different beers, it is hard to top this choice.
