The Best Vegas Sports Bars

During this past weekend, The National Football League began its official season. Hardcore fans and enthusiasts across the nation donned their jerseys, shotgunned their beers, and headed to their respective stadiums or neighborhood sports bars to watch their favorite teams do battle. There is no debate – football (not soccer!) is the U.S.A.'s biggest sport. Given that Las Vegas is seriously lacking any sort of professional sports team whatsoever, the best we can do for the time being is partying as hard as possible and rooting for whichever team we happen to have money riding on. Football season is the best time to do that. The pool parties are slowing down and you can never have enough indoor activities that involve drinking and eating.

Not unlike anywhere else, here in Sin City you'll be able to find serious partygoers catching the game at whatever bar happens to be showing it. Cool sports bars are not always the first thing that comes to mind when when planning a trip, so we've done the hard work for you! Here are our picks for Best Sports Bars in Las Vegas:

1. Blondies Sports Bar & Grill

blondies

Located inside Planet Hollywood, Blondie's brings back the spirit of college partying days. Blondie's touts "Best Happy Hour in Vegas" with all you can drink drafts and wells for $20. Multiple games and sports are displayed on the countless flat screens, not to mention top-notch service from the beautiful cocktail waitresses.

2. TAP

tap

A sister-bar to the original bar inside Detroit's MGM Grand, this gorgeous wood-paneled bar has just the right touch of class to make it a formidable choice for gridiron viewing. Offering superb service and food at just the right price, TAP is definitely worth a visit the day after an all-nighter at Hakkasan or to catch the game after sunbathing at Wet Republic.

3. Umami Burger, Beer Garden & Sports Book

umami

Located in the SLS Hotel, Umami burger, Beer Garden & Sports Book is definitely worthy of your attention. If you have yet to check out what SLS Hotel has to offer, then you are missing out on one of the most unique hot spots in Vegas.  If you love sports betting, then the The William Hill sportsbook that is paired along with Restaurant and Beer Garden is surely to become one of your favorites.

4.  People's Republic

peepsprepub

Right across from City Center (translation: very cool patio view) is a brand new bar that is quickly becoming a favorite of tourists and locals alike. This new hotspot has plenty of TVs to cheer on your favorite team, but the food is so tasty and the mixology is so on point that you may find yourself a bit distracted! The outdoor patio is one of the best on the strip. We recommend ordering one of their many burger variations!

5. Twin Peaks (On The Strip)

twinpeaks

I usually avoid chain establishments whenever possible, but Twin Peaks is a rare exception. Their strip location has left no stone unturned when it comes to providing the most cutting edge sports bar experience in existence. If you've never been to Twin Peaks, the best way to describe it is like Hooter's on steroids, perfect for anyone who advocates a "go big or go home" philosophy.

6. Aces & Ales

Ace-and-Ales-Tenaya-Bar

We always like to encourage visitors to explore a little bit of Vegas off strip to see how the locals party. I'm a staunch beer lover so I had to include this sweet little gastropub in the northwest part of town. Grab an Uber (or a sweet party bus ride) and head on over to Aces and Ales to watch the game. Sixteen different 55-inch flat screens display NFL, NBA and NHL games as well as all other college & pro sporting events.
