Tour Manager: Las Vegas Concerts and Comedy

Tour Manager back with a rundown of concerts and a little comedy you’ll find if you are coming to Las Vegas for the 4th of July Holiday Weekend.  The neon desert will be glowing bright as several well known musicians roll through town for shows this weekend.

Thursday, June 30

The weekend starts early as the Vans Warped Tour rolls through Downtown and takes over the parking lot at The Plaza for an all day festival featuring over 20 bands including 3OH!3, Hellogoodbye, Less Than Jake, Pepper, Lucero, Passafire, Simple Plan The Expendables and Relient K with tickets only costing $35. Meanwhile on The Strip at Cosmopolitan, up-and-coming rockers Royal Bangs begin a four night stint at Book & Stage performing at 10 p.m. and midnight.

Friday, July 1

Grace Potter and The Nocturnals become the latest performers to take the stage out at Red Rock as part of the summer concert series, REVOLUTION – PARTY FOR THE PEOPLE.  Tickets are $30 or you can follow THIS link and print out an FREE admit two pass if you arrive before 8 p.m. On The Strip, Jump Smokers perform at Hard Rock Café with tickets only $10 while in comedy land, Joe Rogan performs his stand up at Mandalay Bay and funnyman Mike Epps brings his talents to the Pearl at Palms.

Saturday, July 2

What is sure to be one of the top events of the weekend, Rihanna brings her song and dance to Mandalay Bay with rising star B.o.B opening the show; a limited number of tickets are still available.  Just across the casino floor at House of Blues, $25 will get you in to see old school punk band, Face to Face.  Meanwhile a short drive out to Primm is where you can catch country outfit Lonestar at Star of the Desert Arena where tickets start at $36.

Sunday, July 3

You’ve got to love holiday weekends and Vegas is going to have a lot of women screaming and crying tears of joy as New Kids On The Block and Backstreet Boys team up for the boy band show of the summer at Mandalay Bay.  Tickets if you can find them start at $86.  Also at Mandalay Bay, British pop singer Natasha Bedingfield brings her high energy show to House of Blues; tickets $30 and singer-songwriter Marc Broussard rocks out at Hard Rock Café on The Strip; tickets are $20 day of.
