Tour Manager: Las Vegas Concerts & Comedy This Weekend

Hey everyone, Tour Manager here with a rundown of some of your best bets in Las Vegas entertainment to look forward to this weekend.

Thursday, October 13

 

  • Kick start the weekend with an amazing performance from Steely Dan.  The legendary rock band brings their Jazz-Rock Ambassadors to the Galaxy tour to Pearl at Palms.  Tickets start at $85 plus tax and fees.

 

Friday, October 14

 

  • The Hard Rock is the place to be on this night as Irish punk rockers Dropkick Murphys take over the Hard Rock Beach Club and perform outdoors.  Tickets start at $30.50 plus tax and fees.

 

  • Also at the Hard Rock, 50 Cent will perform a concert at The Joint following the Skate Street Finals of the Dew Tour Championships presented by GoDaddy.com.  Tickets to the Dew Tour Championship are $71.50 plus tax and fees.

 

  • Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac fame strolls into town and performs at Aliante Station.  Tickets start at $45 plus tax and fees.

 

  • Tonight Show host Jay Leno returns to Las Vegas to perform his shtick at the Mirage.  Tickets start at $79.99 plus tax and fees.

 

  • Off The Strip but worth the 20 minute drive is the Bite of Las Vegas presented by Mix 94.1 and features O.A.R., Michelle Branch, Mat Kearney, Colbie Caillat, The Cab, Imagine Dragons and 100 Monkeys.  Tickets are only $9 ($7 if you purchase them in advance).

 

Saturday, October 15

 

  • Take yourself to Margaritaville as Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band bring the island party to the desert at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.  Tickets start at $69.25 plus tax and fees.

 

  • The Fleetwood Mac invasion in Las Vegas continues as Stevie Nicks sets up shop at The Joint for an intimate evening.  Tickets start at $49.50 plus tax and fees.

 

  • The 48 Hour Festival sets up shop at Luxor for the weekend featuring headlines Godsmack, KORN and Avenge Sevenfold in addition to over 15 more bands.  Tickets for the two-day festival are $99 in advance and $129 day of plus tax and fees.

Sunday, October 16

 

  • The second day of rocking at the 48 Hour Festival takes place at Luxor.
