Where To Eat in Las Vegas: The Pizza Edition

Do you ever get to the spot in your day where you know you should eat but you just can’t figure out exactly what you should be eating? It happens to me every day. It should not happen to you when you are on vacation; therefore, I eat in order to make sure you have a very good idea of where you’ll be spending every meal in Las Vegas.

I have taken one for the team and filled myself silly with pizza after pizza in order to find a few spots for you to have a quick, inexpensive meal on the Las Vegas strip.

My Choices for Pizza on The Las Vegas Strip
Full disclosure: I love pizza so you’ll see me at the food court at Caesars Palace, Sirrico’s in NY/NY, or at Pizzeria de Enzo in the Venetian. I’ll eat pizza from any food court, a gas station even right out of the microwave at home. I have real pizza issues.

  • Good – New York Pizzeria - This spot is on the upper level at New York New York near the entrance. It’s good and it is quick. They have specials and you can have a cheap meal while on the go. Nothing special about the place and you’ll sit outside but I would say it is a grade above the food courts.
  • Better – Grimaldi’s at the Palazzo – The pizza here is actually among the best on the Las Vegas strip. If you are staying at the Venetian or the Palazzo this is a great option for a casual meal that will not cost you a lot of money. It also is a family friendly location. Depending on how hungry you are I would have one personal White pizza with garlic and a calzone. If I’m with my kids one large pizza is enough for the entire family and it gets us out of there at under $30. That’s a deal for four people.
  • Best – Secret Pizza at Cosmopolitan – I must be honest with you when I tell you that I really like the pizza here but that my opinion might be swayed because I often walk in late at night after a few drinks. I usually stumble in to be exact. I usually order two slices and one beer. I almost always sit out in the common area. I rarely finish both pieces as I always seem to find new friends who are willing to help me eat my extra slice. They always get excited about the secret pizza because they had not discovered yet and soon we are all eating together.
  • Great – Enoteca Otto in the Grand Canal Shoppes at Venetian. This is one of those spots where the pizza is done very well. There is a slight char and the sauce is perfect and all the toppings seem to sing to your soul. The atmosphere of the restaurant will make you want to sit around all afternoon having large glasses of Italian wine. The bread is fantastic, the salad is crisp and the pastas are savory. You get a view of the piazza and the people watching is superb.
  • YOU MUST HAVE – D.O.C.G. at Cosmopolitan - This is the best pizza in Las Vegas. I’m not just saying that because I can sit at the bar with a glass of Prosecco and eat an entire pie. It’s not because I always grab a pizza to go and eat it in y room later in the day. It’s because this is a fabulous version of a Napoli style pizza. High heat, flimsy crust and a char that adds so much flavor. You could almost roll the entire pie up and eat it like am Italian burrito.
