Where To Sip, Snack & Shop At Container Park

Container Park in Downtown Las Vegas opened in November last year, but since then it has added various stores and eateries as well as a lineup of entertainment. The 19,000-square-foot park is made from approximately “30 shipping containers and 41 multifunctional modular cubes.”

The storefronts act as a perimeter around a playground in the Fremont Street Experience. Container Park is a unique concept in Vegas.

During the day, you can bring the family to check out a number of stores like Magical Memories featuring various Disney-related fine art. Or simply watch the 55-foot preying mantis that sits in front of Container Park and, on occasion, breathes fire.

Stores to visit while at Container Park include Bettie Page Boutique, 702DT, and Cupkates, which offers delectable one-of-a-kind cupcakes. If you’re hungry then try Big Ern’s BBQ or Pinches Tacos. In the mood for some vino? Try Bin 702 where you can get artisanal cheese and meats to accompany your glass of wine.

After 9 p.m., the park becomes a 21-and-over area, but shops stay open and adults can get a chance to be a kid again on the playground, which includes three massive slides.

Container Park commonly offers concerts on its stage Friday nights and now they’ve introduced Thursday Movie Night. Check the schedule to see flicks like Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark or Top Gun in the park.
