Why You’ll Stay at The Venetian and Palazzo Las Vegas

These two sister properties give you one giant Las Vegas experience regardless of which one you stay at. I like the prestige level at Palazzo but I’m fonder of the casino at the Venetian. The food choices are superb at both and the shopping is among the best on the Las Vegas strip. The properties are connected via the Grand Canal Shoppes and the pools are accesses from either hotel.

Go ahead and place your hands on the cool, shiny marble or walk around looking up at the paintings on the ceiling. It is as shiny and luxurious as you imagined it. Personally, I like that I can eat well, play even harder and then wash it away at the best spa on the Las Vegas strip. I’ll be having a salad at Enoteca Otto, watching a game at Lagasse’s Stadium, indulging in a massage at Canyon Ranch Spa before staying out way too late at LAVO.

Sleep. The rooms are some of the largest on the Las Vegas strip and easily among the best. Forget the soft beds; doze off on the couch in the sunken living room with the remote control in your hand and wake up to a view of the strip from the floor to ceiling windows.

Eat. Keller, Puck, Batali. Lagasse. You really only need to know that if you love food you’ll think you have died and gone to Vegas. Carnevino will change your idea of steak, Bouchon will ruin you for breakfast any where else and First Food and bar will motivate you to have a cocktail with your Frito Pie.

Drink. Public House has a Cicerone to help you navigate a beer list that is at well over 200 beers and Fusion Mixology Bar will make you regret dozing off in high school chemistry class. Grab a glass of wine at Double Helix and don’t forget a glass of Champagne in the heart of the Palazzo casino.

Dance. You’ll want to feel the energy of TAO but you’ll like the smaller more intimate feeling of LAVO. Start at the lounge overlooking the strip and then make your way upstairs. If you have room for a meatball have one and you’ll bypass the line.

Relax. The canyon Ranch Spa is where you go for a massage but you’ll be drawn to the rock wall, to the spinning classes and to improve your yoga practice. You might want to get your feet rubbed or take some time to rub your partner with a Rasul ceremony treatment.
