Wynn's New Gaming Experience

With major nightlife venues making moves towards redefining their brands and creating new entertainment outlets, it’s obvious that Las Vegas trends currently sit in the hands of the millennials. Wynn has already announced the 2016 opening of Intrigue but it looks like they’re also hoping to revitalize the gaming industry with Encore Player’s Club. Located across from Surrender, the luxury lounge will take up 5,013 square feet of space on Encore’s casino floor. Having grown up in the midst of the Great Recession, millennials are drawn to Sin City for the crazy nightlife experience but are less attracted to throwing their money away in slot machines and tables.

By creating a gaming environment that emphasizes entertainment and social interaction, Sean Christie, VP of Operations at Wynn Las Vegas, expects to attract the millennial crowd. The player’s club will feature Suzo Happ InteractivePro tables, a shuffleboard table, mobile sports betting, specialty cocktails, a DJ booth and a white-lacquer Blatt Billiards table from the Manhattan penthouse of Steve Wynn.

If you’re looking for a new spot to watch major sporting events, the club will have 23 56” HD televisions as well as a special menu from Wazuzu on pro football and college conference basketball game days. The grand opening party for Encore Player’s Club, which will be hosted by model and actress Charlotte McKinney, is set for Wednesday, Jan. 6.
