A weekend that every American looks forward to, 4^th of July is just around the corner!  With our nation’s Independence Day falling on a Monday this also means an extended holiday weekend is upon us once again.  Here is a little rundown of some not to miss 4^th of July soirees if you are passing up the backyard barbecue in favor of a trip to San Diego, Los Angeles or Las Vegas.

One month ago the famed Sahara Hotel and Casino closed for good, ending a 59 year run in Las Vegas.  Yesterday owner SBE Entertainment reopened the property briefly for a liquidation sale of anything and everything left inside.

Electric Daisy Carnival

Big news hit Las Vegas when Caesars Palace announced Shania Twain as the next amazing and talented musician to hold a residency at the famed Colosseum. Following in the footsteps of Celine Dion, Elton John, Bette Midler and Cher, Twain will bring her country loving to Las Vegas beginning December 1, 2012 and perform 120 dates over her two year residency.
