Encore Beach Club was Steve Wynn's first splash into the Las Vegas dayclub scene, but the elegant pool club was just one part of the plan. Surrender Nightclub at Encore keeps the party going well into the night with 60,000 square feet of poolside paradise. You may never have heard of or seen Surrender, even as a Vegas native — that's because it's a hidden pot of gold stowed neatly behind the revolving doors of the Encore Casino.



That, however, makes the visit to Surrender all the more alluring — the clandestine spot coupled with the instantly outrageous atmosphere and tasty signature beverages will keep you on your feet all night long and well past your bedtime. While the pool itself is not open for partying every night of the week, Surrender utilizes the posh VIP booths and expansive pool deck to carry out the revelry night in and night out. The nightclub itself is more like an intimate lounge, which doesn’t seem possible given its size. But the décor, use of partitions and VIP areas, and multiple bars make it seem natural and intimate. The lounge-like area occupies only 5,000 square feet and holds a bar with several VIP booths, an indoor DJ booth for nights when the desert weather won't cooperate, and more.



If you are looking for an early evening or a happy hour after clocking out at 5pm, Surrender is not for you. This hotspot doesn't even open its doors until 10:30, and is not even open from Sunday through Tuesday. The great news is, if you like to party hard and watch the sun rise with a cocktail in hand, Surrender is perfect for you, with its 4 a.m. last call.



The true excitement of Surrender is outside — where DJs like Afrojack and Steve Aoki routinely run the turntables and make you surrender to the night. If it happens to be December or some other day in the dead of winter, worry not: the Surrender staff keeps the outdoor area warm and snuggly with tower heaters and cozy outdoor furniture. Bring a sweater, but be ready to cast it aside as the beat catches you and drags you to the outdoor dance floor.
