Time To Dance At Chateau at Paris Las Vegas

The Chateau in Paris Las Vegas. Looking for that authentic “only in Vegas” experience? This is definitely it.

But the evening is just getting started and you don’t want to get there too early. Seeing a show at Paris isn’t a bad idea. They have the Four Seasons tribute Jersey Boys, which is a great time even if you don’t know the original 60s inspirations. Next door at the connected Bally’s casino you can experience the classic showgirl revue Jubilee! Or there’s hypnotist Anthony Cools, a longtime Vegas draw who makes audience members do all kinds of unexpected things.

Or just grab a drink. The center bar in the casino actually isn’t a bad choice, easy to find and comfortable. But if you want something a little more specialized, consider stopping in to Sugar Factory for one of their crazy candy-inspired smoking “goblets” like the Lollipop Passion or White Gummi. Too much too soon? Then consider something a little more civilized perhaps, a tipple in the bar of Gordon Ramsay Steak, glass of vin rouge at Mon Ami Gabi or for something really special, take the elevator up to the bar of the Eiffel Tower Restaurant (no, you don’t need a reservation for cocktails).

Ready for dinner? If this is a date night, a table for two at Eiffel Tower would be perfect: creative modern French classics with a view of the Strip and Bellagio fountains that’s second to none. With the guys or girls, you might rather try hot spot Gordon Ramsay Steak, with a signature Beef Wellington and special “Hell’s Kitchen” menu--if you can get a table (pairs and smaller groups can dine in the bar, if space is available). And Mon Ami Gabi is even a fine choice if your budget is just a little less extravagant or time is tighter.

The Chateau’s entrance is close to all three, and luckily this is one club that promises not to keep people waiting on line forever. Inside, Chateau is a relatively intimate club with a hot sunken dance floor. But it’s the outdoor patio, where platform dancers intermingle with table servers under the stars, that’s really the hot spot on the Strip, a place literally to see and be seen, partying atop the Paris’ grand edifice while looking down on the tourist parade below.

Hungry again? Good thing Sugar Factory is open 24/7. Enter from right near the club exit and sit yourself down here for a Signature Burger (with a white chocolate bun!), bacon and egg pizza—yeah, that’s right—or even some pretty good mac & cheese. Hey, it’s Vegas, one way or another, you’re going to indulge.
