Cielo Nightclub Event Calendar - June 2022

We find Cielo seated in the Meat Packing District, as a sort-of confidential haven for electronic music culture puritans. After an 8-year DJing stint in Ibiza’s Pacha nightclub, co-owner Nicolas Matar decided to bring the authentic spirit of the rave island to Manhattan to educate and enliven the scene. Cielo’s signature compact cubic main room features a sunken dance floor (ladies in heels, watch your step!) flanked by VIP suede banquette seating. The DJ booth and main bar sit on opposite sides. No stratification here. A smoking patio out back keeps any potential claustrophobia at bay. The boxy venue features what is often touted as the most finely tuned Funktion One sound system in the country. People from all corners of the globe come to Cielo just to simply experience the sonic bliss of this prime sound system. Specializing in House, Deep House, Tech-House, Trance, Techno and Electronica. Exclusivity without pompousness is what Cielo provides in spades, and no NYC nightlife excursion is complete without a night fully dedicated to the heart of New York City’s dance music underground.
