Catch Fireworks & Cocktails This Fourth of July

This Fourth of July, don't do the same old backyard BBQ, instead hop on a plane and head to Vegas where you can sit with a cocktail in hand while enjoying epic views of fireworks bursting all around. There really isn't a better way to toast America's birthday than celebrating the Sin City way. We’ve got insight as to where you get the best cocktails while still reveling in amazing views of the fireworks.

common
Commonwealth

This Fremont East hotspot in downtown Vegas has one of the best rooftops for drinking, dancing, and good ole’ fashioned debauchery. Not only will you have great cocktail options to choose from with a craft menu, but you won’t have to pay Strip prices. The best part? Commonwealth’s crowd is one of the best to party with in town.  So head over to this speakeasy-style bar and don’t forget to ask about the ‘secret’ room.

levelLevel 107 Lounge
Head to the 107th floor inside of The Stratosphere and be amazed by 360-degree views of the Las Vegas Valley. You’ll get to sip on signature cocktails like the Cosmic Cucumber or the Elevated Sangria, which contains Mondavi White Zinfandel, champagne, strawberry syrup and blackberry brandy. Listen to the seductive sounds of the gorgeous DJ Shy, who will be playing that Friday night. Live the high life while you gaze at fireworks and snack on scrumptious appetizers.

highThe High Roller
Get your high-roller status on this Fourth of July with one of Vegas’ newest attractions. The High Roller is the world’s largest Ferris wheel and is definitely a rather unique way to spend your Independence Day evening. Just grab 20 of your closest friends and rent out one of the pods on the High Roller for $2,500 where you can drink cocktails and watch the fireworks explode around you (fireworks are to be set off behind The High Roller). It’s one of the best and most unusual views in town. If you don’t know 20ish people, no problem, single General Admission tickets are available starting at $49.95.

foundatFoundation Room
Head to Mandalay Bay’s Foundation Room for a twist on the night. The venue is actually run by House of Blues and offers an exotic, bohemian ambiance. While the Foundation Room has a private party until 9 p.m. that night, it will be open to the public after that and you can still catch great views of the city’s fireworks display while chilling in one of the best high rise Vegas venues in town.

ghostGhostbar
Located just off of the Strip, Ghostbar is a prime spot for viewing the fireworks and one of the best places to party. Inside of Palms Casino Resort you’ll want to take the elevators to the 55th floor where you’ll drink in cushy black leather couches with space to create an impromptu dance floor. If you can handle the heat step onto the rooftop patio and marvel at the beauty of the neon lights.
