Classic Video Game Expo Heads To Town

It’s time to bring out your inner nerd with the Classic Gaming Expo headed to town on September 12-14 at the Riviera Hotel & Casino. Don’t be fooled by the name ‘gaming’ as this has nothing to do with Vegas gaming (ie. slot machines, video poker, etc.), but rather it brings to town the best of video games from the 1960’s to present.

We’re talking everything from “Pong to PlayStation” and all that falls in between. The show will be housed in a 6,000-square-foot convention space inside of the hotel and will feature a number of video games from all eras that you can play for free inside the convention. You’ll also get a chance to check out The Video Game History Museum for a blast to the past.

Meet legendary video gamers like Don Bluth, David Crane, Steve Wozniak and many more. Enjoy live music and the chance to win prizes as well as catch the debut of new games. The best part might be the return of the Swap Meet, which will give you a chance to get rid of the old and add other old, yet new-to-you items.

Don’t forget to enter the Anime Cosplay and Gamer Cosplay contests as you could win up to $250 in cash prizes.
