Expand Your Clientele at Downtown’s Pride Parade This Week

Each year, the Pride Parade brings glitz and glam to Downtown Las Vegas. This year, however, you can cash in on all the action. Go and mingle with participants or stage your vehicle at the end of the parade located at Stewart Avenue and 4th Street, located near The Mob Museum to snag folks as they exit the event and look for places to party.

While there is an after party downtown, those participating in the parade are the perfect audience for booking at a nightclub. The event begins at 7 p.m. with the parade starting at 8 p.m. and ending at 10 p.m. You’ll have plenty of individuals needing rides after the parade, which is the perfect opportunity to take them to a nearby club for the night.

• Ask if they’ve participated in the parade before and where they usually go afterwards.
• If they mention going to a club, let them know that you can help them book a venue easily for tonight’s after party.
• Always know what events are happening each day. For example, if they ask what is happening tonight let them know that Foxtail Nightclub has Kid Conrad, Krush has their usual Frisky Friday’s Party and Piranha will, as usual, be off the hook. Andrew Rayel will be at Marquee Nightclub and Eric Dlux at Light. If they prefer Hip Hop you can recommend DJ Wellman at 1 OAK or NYC DJ NYSE at Chateau Nightclub. Plus, there’s always LAX Nightclub at Luxor, which has been renovated and usually plays Hip Hop and Top 40 – a great place for dancing!

Even if you don’t get a booking on Friday night, you’ve handed out your business card and networked with folks helping to build your customer base.
