Great Gastropubs Popping Up Around The City

The very definition of a gastropub is essentially a pub that serves high-quality food. The concept has been around for years, but as of late, the gastropub scene has been growing and we couldn’t be more excited. What’s better than a full menu of world-class beer options coupled with one-of-a-kind culinary pairings that are out of this world? Yeah, we thought you’d like it too.

Due & Proper
Slated to open this fall (we’ll keep you posted on the opening date), it is distinctly marked by a set of red double doors that you just can’t miss in The District at Green Valley Ranch. While it might be a drive, it should be well worth it especially knowing that Due & Proper is the brainchild of Justin Weniger and Ryan Doherty – the creators of the beloved BLVD. Cocktail Co., Commonwealth, and Park on Fremont. We love these unique venues in the city and especially love that they are growing beyond the Vegas Strip. At Due & Proper you can enjoy 2,500-square-feet of English-style pub with items like bangers and mash, fish & chips and more. 2235 Village Walk Dr., Henderson 89052

Whist Stove & Spirits
Whist (opening this fall) is also from the same creators of Due & Proper and embodies the idea of a 24-hour restaurant and bar in 3,000-square-feet with more of a ‘neighborhood’ ambiance. Whist is said to have ‘Low Brow art’ and ‘mismatched wooden furniture’ as well as a patio to sip your brew and take in all of the Las Vegas Fall. 140 S. Green Valley Pkwy., Henderson 89012

Carson Kitchen
Although Carson Kitchen from Kerry Simon opened up just a few months ago, if you haven’t yet visited, then you’re missing out. A mouthwatering menu that makes it difficult to choose what deliciousness you’ll enjoy, it’s best to go with friends and try multiple plates. Nosh on items like Jerk Turkey Burger with Mango Chutney Slaw or Black Rice & Oxtail Risotto Parmesan cream. For all of you gluten-free beer fans, they’ve got a few on the menu as well as a few delightful cocktails that will have you coming back again and again. 124 6th Street, Las Vegas 89101
