Happy Hour in Las Vegas

Happy hour is that time of the day when you seek out the good deals to help you get through the long afternoon and into the evening. Well, in Las Vegas it’s always happy hour, right? Well, not really but you can always be happy and these places make the time between lunch and dinner a bit more fun.

PJ Clarkes in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace
The world is perfect with shiny oysters that taste like the Pacific Northwest. At least that is what I tell myself whenever I treat myself to 24 of them in one sitting. I will walk over to the Forum Shops if I have free time for 6 of them at PJ Clarkes. $1 is a steal. The rest of the happy hour menu is fine but I’m really excited about a seat at the oyster bar and a pile of empty shells in front of me.
$1 Oysters, Sliders $1.50, Skirt Steak Satays $8.80
3pm to 6pm daily

Main Street Station Triple 7 Restaurant Brewery
If you are in the Downtown Las Vegas area there is no way you can pass up this great deal. I love all the televisions, the atmosphere and the beer selections. This happy hour will not only make you happy with drinks but the food is well worth the price.
House wine and well drinks are $2.50 and 16oz Microbrews are $2.50
The food selections are impressive from garlic fries for $2.99 to Korean Short Ribs for $5.99.Try the Pot Stickers and the Fried Green Beans.
3pm to 6pm Monday – Friday only ( No holidays or Monday night football, although they will have a Monday night football menu)

Hussong’s at Mandalay Bay
The buy one get one free deal is what makes me excited about Hussong’s at Mandalay Bay. You also get some chips and salsa so you’ll be full and leave quite happy. However, you have to have the corn. It will alter your idea of summer corn roasted on the grill.
$4 corn plazero $5 taco and Tecate
$6 Happy hour nachos, buy one get one free margaritas and draft beers
Monday to Thursday 4 – 6pm

Public House Luxor
If you need to be surrounded by big screen televisions but also need a few healthy alternatives on a happy hour menu Public House at Luxor is right for you. Don’t be alarmed if you consider a salad or chicken sandwich, they actually have tried to make bar food healthier.
$3 select beers, half price specialty cocktails, $5 bar bites that include Cheesesteak Spring Rolls, Hummus Plate, Mac ‘N Cheese Squares, Short Rib Tacos
Monday - - Friday 2pm to 6pm
Sunday – Thursday 11pm – 2am

Sensi at Bellagio Las Vegas
I will have to explain that most of the items on this happy hour cannot really be considered cheap until you realize that you are not getting happy hour food. You might be getting a bar menu but what you really are getting is a taste of the magic at Sensi. This menu is a steal when you consider the quality and the amazing flavors.
Truffle Arancini, Sliders and Pho $12 each
Bar Menu Available 4pm to 5:30 pm and 9:30pm to 10:30pm
