It's Time To Plan Your Las Vegas Spring Break

You might be pondering just how long this current semester will go before you go out of your mind with responsibilities and stressful situations. You might also be the parent of a child who gets sometime off and you need a spring break getaway to refresh your own body and soul.

Whatever the case may be, Las Vegas in the spring is the time of the year when the sun starts helping temperatures rise by the pools. The cabanas feel more relaxed and the water sparkles in that early season shine that will wear off in deep August.  This is the right time to start thinking about Spring Break in Las Vegas.

I should clarify this. This is the time you should be thinking about an adult getaway for  spring break.

It’s pretty easy just follow these steps:

Choose A Hotel -  What do you need, a great pool or good club or something cheap? The hot clubs like Hakkasan and XS don’t demand that you stay in the hotels where these clubs reside.  If I have to make a choice for a cheap hotel I’m thinking you should consider the D Hotel in Downtown or the Golden Gate also on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas. When seeking out a moderately priced hotel on the Las Vegas strip consider properties such as Monte Carlo Las Vegas or Flamingo Las Vegas. Both have great locations and are great deals for the money. If money is less of an issue you have to consider Encore at Wynn Las Vegas or the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

Choose A Nightclub – Everybody has their favorite Las Vegas nightclubs and I am no different. If I am looking for a full blown Las Vegas spectacle with a giant room and wall to wall people for me it’s Tao or Hakkasan. The clubs are a maze of experiences with multiple rooms and plenty of space to spread out. If the weather is nice I will always pick XS at Encore because I love walking around outside in between my mingle sessions inside.

Choose a Pool – Spring break is not always pool season contrary to popular belief. Depending on how early in March you decide to start activating your spring behavior you might find that some of the pools are still closed. By April all the big boy tubs are open and you can be sure that the pool parties will be in full swing. Some favorites include Wet Republic at MGM Grand and Encore Beach club, but regular hotel pools that are always a real good bet can be found at Caesars Palace and Cosmopolitan hotel. If you just need a lazy river and a cocktail I will suggest Mandalay Beach or the pool at Monte Carlo.
