Las Vegas Burlesque Festival Begins in Sin City
It’s back, it’s bigger and it’s bustier than ever before. The Las Vegas Burlesque Festival opens with pasties, glitter and oh-so-little costume attire at The Gold Coast Hotel & Casino. Check out the events below to see some good old-fashioned sexy strip-teasing.
Thursday, Nov. 6
This year’s Las Vegas Burlesque Festival debuts this evening with cocktails and a little bumping of elbows with the Las Vegas burlesque community as well as internationally known visiting burlesque stars. At 9 p.m. enjoy the ultimate tease as the local Las Vegas burlesque gals and guys perform vignettes of their shows at the Parade.
Friday, Nov. 7
Start your morning by loosening up your bra strap and learning a thing or two about the art of burlesque from Burly School starting at 10 a.m. After you’re lesson you can determine your new burlesque persona by acquiring costumes and all things burlesque at the underground swap meet. Get dolled up for a little liquid lubrication at the Live Jazz & Cocktail Hour starting at 8 p.m. Just don’t miss curtain call at 9 p.m. where all the magic happens with the Friday Night Showcase with a plethora of acts.
Saturday, Nov. 8
If you got inspired by the Friday Night Showcase and you want to learn how to do that thing with the glove, the splits and the glitter, well, you’re in luck, Burly School is back at it starting at 10 a.m. Today is also a wash, rinse and repeat of Friday with shopping at the swap meet and all the magic starting at 8 p.m. with live jazz & cocktails. Now, the main headlining event is the Saturday night Spectacular! 
Where you’ll see the finest burlesque performers including Ray Gunn from Chicago, Lyra la Belle from California and headliner Roxi D’Lite from Canada.
Sunday, Nov. 9
End the weekend with a little of pancakes and pasties as well as a side of syrup. That’s right, the local Brunchlesque troupe is sponsoring a Burlesque Brunch so you can cure your hangover with eggs and glittery striptease.
