Las Vegas Hotels: Caesars Palace

This icon of the Las Vegas strip is right in the center of the Las Vegas strip. It is recognizable because it has been around forever and it constantly cleans itself up to stay current and relevant. Caesars Palace is Las Vegas and if you spend anytime walking through the property you’ll feel the old and the new and everything that makes Las Vegas the spot to visit. It’s luxury mixed up with nostalgia and then blended with the accents that are so Vegas!

Sleep. There are so many room options at Caesars Palace it is very easy to get confused. My personal favorites are the Octavius Tower rooms and their separate check-in and entrance. The newly remodeled rooms have the giant tubs that I always want to soak in to as well as the technology that lets me do everything from my handheld tablet. Picture me making dinner reservations from the tub while watching hockey highlights. Yes, that is what I do when I’m at Caesars Palace. A close second is Nobu at Caesars Palace with its boutique feel and comfortable beds.

Eat. It would take you a couple of weeks to truly appreciate all the good food options at Caesars Palace Las Vegas. I’ll give you the highlights. Spago, have the meatloaf. Beijing Noodle No. 9 , have the hand pulled noodles. Serendipity 3, have the frozen hot chocolate and the heirloom tomato salad. Raos, you have to have a meatball. Nobu, sushi, sushi and more sushi. Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, the poutine and the fish and chips and a beer. I could go on but this is literally just the tip of the iceberg.

Relax. The Garden of the Gods pool complex at Caesars Palace is enough for me to just chill out and relax but if I’m indulging in relaxation I have to stop in to Qua Baths and Spa. It is a tiny slice of utopia. The baths, the steam room and then a treatment. The Emperors Treatment is my favorite but I recently had the Nobu Signature Experience and that was enough to regain about 5 years from my life. Yes, it made me feel younger!

Experience. I could tell you about PURE for a place to dance or Celine Dion for a show you should see. I could also talk to you about the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace but then I would lessen the amount of time I should be spending on Absinthe. This is the show that takes the Cirque du Soleil formula and then mixes it up with some adult themes and very creative and talented entertainers to deliver the best show in Las Vegas. All you need to do is come in with an open mind and you’ll laugh harder than you have in a long time. Every seat is perfect in this small theater in the round.
