From the hands of Live Nation and MGM Resorts comes the revamped Route 91 music festival. Now dubbed Route 91 Harvest, the three-day music festival will take place October 3-5 at The Lot across from Luxor Hotel & Casino. The talents of Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Dierks Bently and Brantley Gilbert are slated for the festival's roster along with at least a dozen other country artists.

There’s a new show in town and it’s a side-splitter. We’re talking about Lipshtick: The Perfect Shade of Standup At The Venetian. With an all-female lineup of comedians, the show includes some of the most talented and funniest women around.

Whitney Cummings who is co-creator of the hit-comedy “2 Broke Girls” organized the comedy series and brought it to fruition within three months, according to news reports. Cummings, who is also a standup comedian, will be performing four nights including two in August and two in November.
