Travel Through A Lens: Machine Guns Vegas

Memorable experiences are a dime a dozen in Las Vegas. Between breathtaking shows, headlining entertainers, unforgettable restaurants and lavish nightclubs you should leave the City of Sin with something worth remembering – or forgetting.

You should make one of those experiences Machine Guns Vegas. Your dad’s gun range doesn’t having anything on this place with its impressive array of weapons from handguns to assault rifles and fully-automatic weapons with a foreign flavor along with an experienced and attractive staff that is truly Las Vegas.

Machine Guns Vegas boasts an arsenal that includes mobster classics like the Tommy Gun to the actually guns used by America’s elite military forces like the M4 Carbine, FN SCAR and powerful M60 that would make Rambo salivate. The best part is if you’re a novice you won’t have to read a manual to fire a gun here. The range staff is made up entirely of veterans, who have first-hand knowledge of how these weapons work and their impact in the warzone.

When our very own Galavantier, Craig, experienced Machine Guns Vegas, here’s his recount.

Talk about first class experience, not only is Machine Guns Vegas as upscale of a gun club I’ve eve been to but the staff is courteous, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and the female employees are easy on the eyes.  After being whisked into the VIP Lounge (if you are celebrating a bachelor party this is the only way to go), we went over the firearms we would be shooting, received a bit of safety instruction and were outfitted with safety goggles and hearing protection before heading into the dual stall VIP shooting range.  From here the excitement was too much to keep as my group got giddy to unleash some fire power on our targets.  With a mass selection of targets to choose from, up went the zombie target I selected and then sent down the stall as I prepared to fire a Glock 17.  A round of handgun shots later and the zombie was wounded (I’m by no means a professional gun shooter), that was until I was outfitted with a MP-5 with laser scope for easier aim and it sure was; the zombie could handle no more as it was peppered shot after shot.  Now this was all fun and exciting but the highlight of my Machine Guns Vegas experience came when I was handed a Mossberg 590A1 Shotgun.  Talk about having some power, I unleashed a fury of shots at my target and peppered it to essentially a see-through target.

While we had some incredible instructors guiding us through the entire process, I must say you should experience Machine Guns Vegas with a group of friends as this really was the thrill.  Cheering each other on as you fire off rounds of bullets on targets, making friendly wagers on who is the best marksman, and really just the camaraderie that comes with the whole experience is something that should be shared with friends.

Located just west of the Strip, Machine Guns Vegas is a must visit you next trip to Las Vegas.
