Travel Through A Lens: Palms Casino Resort Playboy Club

Enjoy it while you can!  Come the middle of June, Las Vegas will say goodbye to the Playboy Club at Palms Casino Resort after a strong six year run.  But why should you visit the Playboy Club in Las Vegas before it’s too late? Here’s why.

Satin teddy’s, cotton tails, blackjack and Jameson can only mean one thing: you’ve entered the ubiquitous Playboy Club at the Palms Casino Resort.

The Las Vegas Playboy Club isn’t like the other dazzling nightlife spots sprinkled throughout the Palms Casino Resort. Instead this place combines the nightlife experience of good music and free flowing cocktails with top notch gaming, specifically blackjack and roulette. This is like a guy’s dream come true, but no surprise there, it is an offshoot of Hugh Heffner’s original Playboy Club in Chicago.

Located high atop the Fantasy Tower of the Palms Casino Resort (the 52nd floor), the club features photographs of past Playmates, luxe decor, a fireplace and a laid back atmosphere--one that was probably relished by playboys back in the day. But don’t mistake the lounge style vibe for “boring.” The Playboy Club is the ideal place to kick off the night before you head to spots like Moon Nightclub (located right above the club) or ghOstbar. Take note, the people watching here is unmatched. Kick back with a beverage and watch as guys hit on the bunnies and ladies eyeball the bunnies or try to act just as sexy as the bunnies. Another thing to keep in mind, this isn’t a jeans and graphic t-shirt kind of hangout, it’s sleek. So, come dressed like you’re fresh out of a Details shoot or just at least be sure to don a blazer. For ladies, you already know the deal: bodycon dresses, sky-high heels and lots of glittering accessories.

And don’t worry; you can still get your Playboy Club fix in at the two remaining branded venues in London and Macau.
