4 Reasons Why You Should Be In Las Vegas Right Now

You really do not need any more reasons to want to get out from behind that desk do you? Do you really need someone like me to tell you that working is nowhere near as fun as cocktails with a view of the Las Vegas strip? Meetings are better than a night dancing at Hyde Bellagio as the fountains go off in the background? Really, that baloney sandwich between two pieces of stale, old, bread is what you will choose over an heirloom tomato salad drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette that is chased down with a glass of Prosecco?

I am not buying it and here are a few more reasons why you need to call in sick and get your tired, worn out body to Las Vegas for a quick reset.

Hershey’s Chocolate World at NY/NY Hotel and Casino: I don’t need to tell you that chocolate can cure all of your ailments but I will. It does and this huge retail store of chocolate loveliness is full of some tasty treats. I personally like the sea salt dark chocolate bark but the chocolate pretzels are pretty spectacular as well. This is a 13,000 square foot store that celebrates chocolate and you will love every inch of it.

The Cocktails at Vesper Bar at Cosmopolitan: Everybody needs a cocktail to help them forget the horrors of the workplace but the bartenders at Vesper seem to look deep into your soul to create the perfect elixir to satisfy your ailments. Tell them what you want and they will perfect your new favorite drink.

The Giada Cocktail at Giada in the Cromwell: I can’t tell you that Giada alone will not make you happy that you told your boss where to stick his annual report. The food, the view and the fact that she is so darn charming should easily do that. However, The Giada cocktail guarantees that you will be very happy in Las Vegas. Kappa Pisco, pineapple gomme syrup, lime, apricot preserves, egg whites & Angostura bitters all come together and make your existence better than you could have imagined it.

The Experiential Rains at Canyon Ranch Spa: The one spot on the Las Vegas strip where I am perfectly ok with being naked in a public place (shower stall) is while under the experiential rains inside the Canyon Ranch Spa at Venetian. You get a little tropical rain, some fog and a strong Caribbean storm and your stress is gone after what you thought was a shower. Their Aquavana experiences all warrant a try and they come with your regular admission into the spa.
