Come Experience The Venetian's Opulent Offerings

First off, you should know that The Venetian is the world's largest hotel and resort complex. The biggest on Earth. I've lived here for about 6 years and I still get lost every single time I set foot inside The Venetian, or The Palazzo for that matter. I have an impeccable sense of direction, mind you. So, as long as you don't mind some walking, the treasures waiting inside The Venetian are definitely worth the adventure.

Lipshtick
A new comedy series created this year, Lipshtick is a fresh take on standup comedy by featuring top female comedians inside The Sands Showroom through January 2015. Acts like Whitney Cummings, Lisa Lampanelli, Wendy Williams and more make appearances as headliners on the ever-changing roster of performers. For all you naysayers to the lady comedian community, go sit somewhere else, because these chicks have made serious waves in the comedy industry through their careers as performers, writers, producers and recently rocking their appearances on @Midnight on Comedy Central.

SUSHISAMBA
As if the decor itself isn't enough with its sweeping archways and bright colors, SUSHISAMBA is a great spot for any date night restaurant choice. Honestly, I'd go and eat solo if I needed to, since the food there is so delicious. A fusion of Japanese and Brazilian cuisine, you're going to be able to satisfy that sushi craving while simultaneously pleasing meat-lovers with grilled robata meats, zesty Peruvian menu influences and crazy cocktails to boot. If you're a local, you just might score a free appetizer, as their management is on point with recognizing industry support and providing awesome service. Tip: Test them out for Happy Hour from 4-7 p.m. Sunday - Friday or after 11 p.m.

TAO
Let's compile all the awesomeness of TAO into one category here, because if you count TAO Asian Bistro, Lounge, Nightclub, and Beach into one venue - it's the ultimate Vegas experience. They've gained so much nightlife/daylife inertia through their years of rocking the industry that it's really never a bad choice and they still bring in some top talent. Remember, this is the club that's featuring the one and only Snoopadelic Cabaret. Here at Galavantier, we live our lives in the Vegas nightlife scene, so our recommendation for TAO is sound and we've got the team to walk you right in when you're ready.

Carlo's Bakery
Just like you've seen on Cake Boss, the family-owned Carlo's Bakery is now open inside The Venetian and is worth checking out just for some pictures, though you'd be crazy not to grab a quick sugar rush. Right across from Buddy V's, the savory full-fledged restaurant concept from the same family, Carlo's Bakery is a small little cake shop where you can get custom-made cakes, cannolis, cookies, biscotti and much more. Sometimes there is a line outside the door, but you'll still get some entertainment while you wait by peeking inside the bakery's kitchen through the large windows. They also offer baking classes and bakeware for purchase for those looking to learn from the very best in the baking biz.

Gondola Ride
What would a trip to The Venetian be without experiencing a little bit of Venice? A Gondola ride is the quintessential activity inside the resort that you'll see on almost any "What To Do In Vegas" list. Hop in your gondola and you'll be steered through the Grand Canal shops with your own gondolier serenading you along the way. Sure, the real Venice gondola experience is more authentic, but with the money you'll save on that plane ticket you can treat yourself to some killer shopping and still get the same Instagrams at the end of the day.
