Rockabilly Festival Heads To Vegas This Fall

This fall the best of the rockabilly world heads to Vegas for the first annual Rockabilly Rockout at the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino on Thursday, October 2 through Sunday, October 5.

The event is all about good old-fashioned rock’n’roll meets country music with a splash of rhythm’n’blues. Not only will the event feature rockabilly bands from around the world, but DJs (i.e. record hops) Tom Ingram and Jerry Chatabox among others will be spinning rockabilly-themed music between bands.

KISS Heads To Hard Rock Hotel

It's official, KISS, the legendary rock band and music icons have announced their residency at The Joint inside of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for this fall.

"What happens in Vegas will not stay in Vegas, not if we have anything to do with it. We intend to blow the roof off the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino," said Gene Simmons a founding member of KISS in an released statement.

Creators of the Life is Beautiful Festival in Downtown Las Vegas have announced this year's art, music and food lineup for the now three-day cultural event in its second year of operation.

The festival is slated for Friday, October 24 through Sunday, October 26, “featuring nearly 70 chart-topping acts, dozens of culinary giants, and world-renowned speakers.” The event was created last year as a way to bring growth and further attention to Downtown Vegas as well as the local arts community that is progressively expanding.

THEhotel Transforms to Delano This Summer

If you’re heading to Vegas in the next few weeks and you’re staying at THEhotel or near it, you’re going to find some notable changes including the removal of THEhotel’s signage and some major construction throughout the hotel.

MGM Resorts and Morgan’s Hotel Group are working together to renovate THEhotel into the Delano, which is expected to open September 1.

THEhotel opened in 2003 as a nongaming property attached to Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino with approximately 1,100 rooms.
