5 Things To Do This Week in Las Vegas

Do you ever feel like you need some thing to spice up your life? You know that something special that transforms an otherwise drab week into something you tell people about for the next few weeks. Be that person. Be the person with the annoying stories about all the great things you have been doing. Go ahead. Lead my life. Go to the party and command the attention of everyone with your latest tales.

These 5 experiences will have people salivating at the thought of leading your life.

Rock Crawling - Get into a jeep, hold on tight and then be ready to drive really slow over some huge obstacles that will have you sweating heavily and breathing in short rapid bursts that prevent you from passing out. Be confident and listen to your guide and you should get out of there with a few pictures that your friends on Facebook will try to steal as their own.

A couple of days at The Cosmopolitan - The minute you stand on the terrace of your room at the Cosmopolitan you’ll start coming up with reasons to call your friends to explain your view. Take a picture and save it for a dinner party when you begin to explain the way the fountains at Bellagio are synced to the music. You pull out your phone and show off your pictures as if you are oblivious of the great view. Your friends will ask about where the shot was taken and you’ll answer with stories of the great food and cocktails at The Cosmopolitan. Remember, act like you’ve been there before.

Get uncomfortable at Absinthe – Laughing at inappropriate humor is really the best way to be entertained. I’m not sure when it became the norm to laugh at the ordinary but how did we forget that humor has to get you to the edge of your comfort level? Don’t give me clean humor, give me some Absinthe at Caesars Palace.

Get A Real Golf Lesson – If you have a group of friends who have to talk about golf you’ll be able to command the attention of the entire group when you explain that you spent a few days in Las Vegas with a real golf pro who turned your game around. Don’t worry; they won’t see your swing for awhile after they hear your stories. In that time you might want to work on your game.

Be a Pizza Snob – Nobody likes the guy who has to talk about how he really knows foie gras. The guy who comments on wine as if he pressed the grapes himself borders on pretentious. However, the guy who talks about pizza seems to get a pass. Go ahead talk about crust, sauce, and char. Explain what a VPN pizza is and then tell the group about how good a real good pizza is.
